Want to learn how to run sword? (informative tutorial)
I have met plenty of hunters that have never run sword and don't know how to. This will hopefully show you how easy it is and exactly what you need to do!
This is my first commentary video so I apologise if it isn't great, I hope you will provide constructive criticism and not just abuse but hey... Do what you gotta do. Hopefully the video and the information I provide will outweigh any negatives!

A few good points below: when hitting with R2 I hold up on the left analog stick to hit faster. Also you hold triangle to drop the sword after the first hits and then stab Crota with 'escape artist' blink strike to go invisible.

3 Repliesif u guys wanna try this combo, you can get him in a total of 4 downs. Slash, slash, slam, slash,slash,slam,slam. if done correctly after the first sword and two downs, his health should be half or below half, around the A. This is a combo i learned from someone and isn't mine but does great damage as well.

1 ReplyI watched the Hunters that ran sword in my early completions and paid attention to what they did. Then I ran it on my Hunter and after an hour of getting to grips with everything involved (only ran sword once on Normal) we had it done. The only issues are the timing of your movements, callouts and button presses and the obvious performance anxiety that comes with being a lynchpin in the whole operation. Much like using the Relic in VoG, once you're over the initial fear you'll find it is great fun and a lot easier than you thought.
