So i've been using this gun in crucible and for the most part it's decent. What could make it a more viable weapon would be the following:
- Increase magazine size to at least 65
- Make headshot kills trigger the explosion always and increase explosion radius
I think those additions would make this gun a lot more fun.
If you don't want to increase mag size then increase precision damage.
If headshot kills dont always trigger explosion then make explosion do significantly more damage.
Besides that I think it's a fun gun seeing a player blow up is pretty satisfying ;)

So its been a day this post has been live and there is a clear view that,
- Magazine should be increased AND/OR impact should also be increased
- Explosion should be guaranteed with precision kills
There is also mention of having increased precision damage and some other major alterations such as new perks.
Lets keep this going.

Only thing the gun needs is an increase to it's impact rating. We currently don't have a single AR that has both a high RoF and high Impact. If they do that then the magazine size and stability are fine as is since it will balance the gun out vs other ARs. The idea is to make it stand out like the Vex. IMO, not every exotic needs to be defined solely by its unique effect.

It would be nice to see Bungie finally do something about this, but after the endless forum posts, the reviews confirming how weak it is they won't even make a comment on it. Conclusion: Bungie is giving us the finger because they already have our money and won't care about us till they try sell another DLC or game.

The only thing happening to the necrochasm is a nerf along with all the other auto rifles. -2.5% in base damage. They want you to use a pulse rifle. Our response should be to completely stop playing pvp. Suros will be completely useless after the nerf and for those of us that still dont have it 6 months later, we'll never get to experience it as others have since launch. Complete and utter BS. Stick together guardians, or learn to love playing with under-powered weapons.

I've only played with eilodon ally, but I can see why the Necrochasm is so underwhelming. it definately needs a bigger mag, at least 60 at most 80. the explosion should exclude precision requirement, even if it needs a frequency drop, because otherwise its just a weaker firefly. my $0.02

Well if I remember correctly the Necro was kinda marketed as "the king" of fast fire-rate auto rifles. Thus it would probably be best if the mag size and precision multiplier are increased. As for the unique perk: -Guaranteed explosion on precision kills -50% chance of explosion on a non-precision kill -Ultras and Majors explode with increased blast radius and the blast deals increased damage. (to spice up PVE a little)

Needs full stability, bigger magazine, glass half full perk, and a unique perk: "This gun accurately fires 2 bullets for the price of one"

Honestly, if they increase the Impact by a decent amount (like 5-10) and make the explosive perk a 100% chance, then the gun's good to go. The stability and mag size would be usable if it could actually deal damage, and since the main perk can't be relied upon because it's not a 100% chance, what's the point?

I have an idea for the necro, well it's more of an idea for destiny and Bungie as a whole. Refund us all our money. Take your game back and retool RNG, fix ALLLLLLL the bugs and glitches not just the ones that benefit the players, retool whatever it is you have in place that comes up with these God awful perks on weapons, give us more vault space and higher glimmer cap. Then when all that's done apologize for lying out your ass about how grand the game was going to be then we all get it again and see if it's worth $60+ and if so we pay for it. If not you don't get our money cause you don't deserve it.

Na, just buff it's critical multiplier. It's exotic ability procs on headshots. make it take less bullets to the head to make it happen. seems like the simplest solution.

Grinding for the Necrocnasm was a long and brutal process. I was so disappointing in the overall performance and something needs to be changed. The mag size is to small and the tps is just not good enough. Sadly I have to put this gun in my inventory because of its poor performance.

I think mag size increase and landing successive shots quickly should trigger a green poison explosion. Like the needler in halo. After 5 rounds find their mark it triggers the blast. Necro should hit 10 rounds and then trigger something.

Bungie really screwed the pooch when it comes to the Necrochasm. For all the time I spent grinding to get this thing, I feel like I was the pooch. Bungie really needs to grow a pair and admit they messed up and then fix it.

So obviously these changes should be implemented - increased mag (65-70 range), - guaranteed thrall explosions on precision kill - increased impact shouldnt be too hard to do but who knows

Most simple upgrade to make it a good weapon - magazine size 70 -base impact 10 instead of 1 -precision explosion 100% of the time
