Pre-ordering, while once a cool and innocent gesture has become a new beast in terms of game development. Game devs are putting out content that is unfinished or untested very frequently. This problem, while not entirely, stems from the Pre-order. Devs used to be able to push back a title as many times as neccessary to finish their creations before releasing it to the public. But now with the pre-order obsession devs are under Pressure by distributing companies to meet consumer deadlines. People tend to get pissed off if a product they paid for doesn't get delivered on time.[spoiler]this is not the end all, be all arguement or observation about pre-order ing.
