Titan can do it too without killing the ogre. Plus yours isn't solo.

  • Replaced the video for a "true" solo. In all honesty I couldn't tell the difference. In fact I was left with the impression there were fewer thralls. But might have been my imagination.

  • We did start as 6, but that was because i volunteered to carry the whole team. They didn't follow me and i told them to get killed before i got to the end. What exactly is the diference in terms of gameplay?

The fact that they are there affects the way the thrall act distracts them from just following and going after you. They ran out and were fighting them at the beginning and that changes a lot. Now if they had all ran back at the very beginning and jumped off Behind the start point before you started to do your run that would be different.

The fact that there are people in the team is actually an encumbrance. If someone comes along (like the one guy that didn't have a mic so he didn't listen to me saying to stay back) the enemies will also follow along instead of staying back where they last saw you (before you disappeared). Also, having more people on the fireteam usually makes more enemy spawn and makes them harder to kill (not that it makes a difference in this example) Anyway, as i said, i usually do this solo, in this instance i took along 5 friends so they would get te rewards. However if you'd like a "cleaner, solo" video, i can get it too, although there are lots of them available.

  • This isn't Diablo. The number of team members does not change the enemies that spawn of how tough they are. It does lure them away from you and make it easier to stealth though

I believe that, at least in other activities, the number of players on the fireteam does affect difficulty (at the very least the damage output of enemies). link Its a fair question, though, if this has been confirmed and if it happens in raids as well.

  • I'm glad these few people think is does but it doesn't.
