Error Code Canary at Hotel
I'm at a hotel for the next 11 days and have my Xbox One connected to the network here. Destiny is telling me "No internet connection detected" search for Canary the instant I hit the A button on the main screen. I followed the option to power down ... unplug the console ... blah, blah, for a home connection, obviously I can't mess with the hotels network myself, and power that down. I have run the "Test Network Connection" and the "Test Multiplayer Connection" in my Xbox One Settings and get the responses:
- It's all good
Your console is connected to the internet. -
- It's all good
There were no problems with your connection for multiplayer. -
I have used Hulu no problem, Downloaded an update to Minecraft no problem, tested Party Chat to where others could hear me but I could not hear them.
Detailed Network Statistics :
NAT type - Moderate
Detailed NAT information - "Your network is behind a port restricted NAT".
Looking for any information that may be able to help me get this working so I can pass some time late night.

1 ReplyUnfortunately you are not the first person to report that hotel internet will not let them play the game. Many hotel network connections restrict the use of their connection to play many of the more network heavy games. This is not necessarily intentional and in some cases adjustments can be made to make the it more friendly. If you PM me the name of the hotel we will investigate.
