Too frequently booted with Error: Canary

This problem has been persistent for me. Help articles suggest getting on a stable internet connection - I have a stable 60mbps optical fibre connection (on other devices wirelessly connected). It isn't wired but my TV is next to the router - distance 1 foot. Help also suggests that packet loss is the reason for disconnection - there's no way I'm having severe packet loss; in my home network or to the server. Anyone who has resolved this issue for good?

  • Are you on virgin media superhub 2 by any chance? If so, this may help: Go to your xbox 1 network settings and establish which of the two networks you're on. (either the 5ghz or the 2.4 one) Then go to your PC browser and login to your router settings 192.168.0.1 (password by default is changme) Go to advanced settings then select Wireless radio you'll then see three speed options for each bandwidth, the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz. My xbox one was on the 5ghx channel with the speed set to 450mbs, I selected the 54mbs option and applied and saved. It seems to have worked for me, I did it today and haven't had an issue since.
