Bungie, you'd better read this. For Thanksgiving, or any holiday for that matter, there should be special events (special strikes or missions) with holiday-specific enemies and obtainable weapons. For example, for Thanksgiving there would be headless turkeys as enemies, with forks and knives as weapons and such. For christmas, there could snowmen that throw snowballs at your head. At the end of each of these special missions, there would be a giant boss like a gigantic turkey that throws cranberries at you, and if you are hit you get an effect called slowness or something. For christmas, Santa could have a present launcher that wraps you up when hit. Just a (large) thought.
