Deej, help us out bro!! We need an update on vault space increase...
Our vault space is dangerously low. Please give us an update on what the team is doing to address this. I know almost the entire community desires to collect all the exotics, but there just isn't enough space and with more on the way soon, we will need more than twice the space we currently have. I say this because, many of us have already filled our current vaults and still have some items to collect. If we are forced to start deleting some of our favorite legendaries or our less used exotics, I can guarantee many people will leave the game. I don't want that, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
Just a heads up that the team is working on increasing our vault space would be fantastic. An extra step would be to give us some idea of how much space will be added. It's barely over 2 weeks away, but my collection of gear and weapons grows everyday and I know some of my friends are in worse shape than I am.
Hopefully we aren't asking too much but we would very much enjoy seeing:
1.) At least double the storage capacity
2.) It'd be nice to keep class items and gear separate
3.) Possibly separate tabs in the weapons and gear categories that further organize between weapon type; Primary, Secondary, and Heavy.
Thanks, we understand there are some issues when releasing a game such as this, but many of us are keeping our hopes high. We really love the style, a sci-fi/fantasy space opera that focuses on co-op gaming and creating epic moments of awesomeness!! The team has brought a wonderful vision to life and we really desire to see it unfold to even higher levels of greatness.

I've found out that once you acquire 20 items, it starts deleting the old to make room for more. I have to run back and forth between the mail with 1 or 2 engrams at a time. Every time i acquire a new weapon to keep, I must delete current weapons. It's very lame and limits game playability...

I need this badly. I collect 3 of every weapon. Not only is my vault full, but so is my characters inventory. The post master is the vault for weapons because I cant use them!

Everytime I come across a new weapon or piece of gear I want to keep, I have to delete something I had chosen to keep earlier. It's not a lot to ask for more Vault Space and would increase the playability by a decent enough factor to justify it. C'mon Bungie, help us to help you! Hehe : )

Unfortunately it was a little too brief as he just states they are working on it but it will take time. Well, time is out, this shouldn't have been an issue at all considering we should have had at least double or triple the space with the game's release. They've had over 2 months... He also claims we don't need a petition for a good idea, even if nobody else agrees with it. Slightly clever, but also a little condescending. We will continue to petition, comment and just plain ol' bitch about this issue until it's solved... If anyone else can find the topic, let's petition the heck out of this problem, before we start losing Guardians around here. Lol

Supposedly it was leaked that vault space is coming with House of wolves. More storage in 3 existing slots. Plus slots deticated to shaders, ships and the 3rd slups my mind.

VAULT SPACE I think we can all agree more vault space is needed for the future weapon caches we will all surely build. But how about we not only add more vault space, but add utility to our fancy space craft. Im suggesting that we make the ships have a "cargo hold" were us guardians can, store our favorite weapons and armor so they become easier to access. Maybe legendary ships have more cargo space than rare ships and so on and so forth. If other guardians like my idea, share it, repost it, bump it. I greatly appriciate you thoughts please share them :) SolidSnakeCCVI

I actually commented on a topic exactly like this a week ago. My exact comment was this: [quote]What could easily make the vault bigger is if they did the vault exactly like they did for characters. This would create a ridiculous amount of vault space to hold all your items for all 3 characters.[/quote] This would solve a lot of issues in terms of vault space in my opinion, and would make it so that they wouldn't have to address the issue for some time. Leaving them to focus on other things that need to be done to Destiny to improve our experience.
