Bad juju needs a buff for it's impact and clip size (right now most rare pulse rifles right now are way better both in pve and pvp) Thorn gets a buff for it's impact and reload speed and around a clip size of 7 bullets so the last bullet upgrade is still useful) VM just restore it to it's former glory and don't listen to the cry babies it's the hardest gun to attain and it should feel special ( no I don't own one and actually got destroyed by it more than once in pvp) and as for Pocket Infinity just increase the clip size to 5, I mean nerfing it from 8 to 3 clip size was to much...

Edited by Wasabi: 12/1/2014 2:25:02 PMI don't think any weapon needs to be nurf all that nurfing is just a bunch of nonsense I rarely see a vex in pvp (besides mine) I'm like the only one on my friendlist that have one. Anyway the chances of you getting kill with a super, heavy weap, suros gang bang, or melee is way way more higher then a vex me personally if Saw a vex b4 patch I would simply keep a distance or snipe the dude or play smart against it. Most of the complainers are probably run at you sit in one spot players 0.0 and if they are going to neaf something neaf the suros I mean who doesn't have one a full team of suros(which is 100% likely) can easily stop the one person who has the vex on the opposing team

Pocket infinity is too powerful when it has 8 ammo which can fire auto mode
-
How about you max out Bad Juju, get decent at making headshots and alternating targets (break from Knights and pluck some Acolytes or Tralls), and you will never have to reload again. I made it through the Hellsmouth with only a handful of reloads.
-
You aint kiddin! The name Bad Juju is quite appropriate since you do nothing but die with it because it takes forever to kill people. You can only get five trigger pulls out of it before you have to reload the dang thing. Even with it fully upgraded, it's useless!!! I don't see how/why Bungie hasn't fixed this piece of crap yet. It's obviously the worst gun in the game and yet it's "exotic". Get it together Bungie.

I worked so hard to get the vex, just to get a weapon that from one side is pretty good but for so many other its not what i expect from the best weapon in the game, i didn´t had it before its stats were lowered but it hit´s like a normal weapon, but the thing i hate the most is the backup ammo capacity, when increase the mag you expect the backup to increase as well, so when using a syntesis you´ll get aprox. 150 bullets, so bungie please make the best weapon in the game worth having.

I only got the Mythoclast last week. I was so happy to get it I danced around the room. Then abruptly got very depressed when I found that it wasnt anywhere near as powerful in PvE as I expected it to be. In PvP I have seen the videos from before the nerf. Yeah way too powerful even a noob with slow reactions could own with it. So its fair to nerf for PvP. I dont even play PvP much though. So PLEASE PLEASE BUFF it for PvE. Otherwise its useless to use. The VoC is much better at the moment and that should not be the case.
-
pocket infinity auto fire is ridiculously slow now too. or is it just mine??
-
Vex buff for PVE yes , pvp - no.. to OP
-
I agree and they went way to far with the vex but they said they are going to un nerf it, just not sure how much
-
They said they would buff Bad Juju 2 months ago. No big deal man
-
You forgot to mention Super Good Advice. Every stat on that weapon is below average, even for rare LMGs, aside from its fire rate. Its perks are also laughable. Its tool-tip should just be changed to say "prepare to be disappointed."
-
None of those guns use "clips" to store their extra ammunition. They are implementing an exotic overhaul so they know it's a problem. These changes need tested before release that is why it is taking so long.
-
Thorn needs to ether have a faster fire rate as well. It still is getting out preformed by "The Devil You Know" and a few other hand cannons, as far as base states goes. Other than that Thorn is an OKAY hand cannon at best. (Feed back from my clan members as well as me)

Edited by 英雄不再: 11/25/2014 4:00:09 AMVEX MYTHOCLAST need buff! It's so hard to get but so bad to use!!
-
Pocket Infinity needs no fix. It's charge time, reload bonus, and rapid fire/full auto blast devastate in both PvE and PvP. I've watched one guy with it wipe 3 people with one blast of PI in crucible. In PvE, it can wipe a small group with a quick sweep, or even take down a big enemy fairly fast. Even more so if the proper Burn modifier is on. Once the gun is upgraded, it is a destroyer.
-
PvE and PvP need to be separated
-
I think the best solution would be to differ between PVE and PVP. I realize that this would require huge efforts but I think it'd be worth it. I understand everyone who wants the VM to be special in PVE, but it was way too strong in PVP and took away all the fun. So either Bungie finds a good compromise or they need to think about seperate perks and stats on weapons.
-
Pocket infinity is still to effective in pvp though so should be interesting to see how they gonna fix it.
-
Edited by Zweimander: 11/24/2014 4:30:16 AMThe vex was 2-3 shotting people to the body from any distance and close to one hitting with a head shot. I wouldn't be against a rebuff if they reduced the base clip size and removed the perk for the extra clip size though. Plus most people got it from pushing Atheon off the cliff so they had easy mode PvP with almost no effort at all.
-
The only problem with the Vex is that a lot of people got it illegitimately from cheesing Atheon, effectively making it a checkpoint (and RNG) away from many people. So, as opposed to being a truly legendary weapon, acquired by beating the hardest challenge the game has yet to offer, it became something you started to see in crucible often. It should have been something you saw once in a while in PvP or PvE and feared, or yearned after, but instead became something anyone with a friendly Warlock, versed in cheesing, could potentially attain. I have faith that they'll find the right balance, because restoring it to it's "former glory" would now effectively turn PvP into a Mythoclast battle. That would look cool, but it wouldn't be much fun.

Edited by Putilatex: 11/25/2014 11:05:38 AMYes, I've been using Bad Juju and it's worse than other non-legendary pulse rifles. Its quite bad. Pathetic really. Devs said "dont shard it" ... "it will be improved". Been a while since that. The only thing worth getting this for is the Grimoire points. And the only reasons keeping me from sharding this broken toaster are that I have inventory space and the thought of throwing away all those coins that I spent so much time farming. Bad bungie, bad.

It was EIGHT before the nerf?!? Ohhh man. Yes, Agreed - 8 to 3 is a bit drastic. Sort of paints Bungie into a corner - Going from 8 to 5 or even 8 to 6 would suggest they basically got it right but had to "tweak" it a bit. Dropping it 63% from the original stat isn't a tweak - it is an admission they got it completely wrong. The irony is - they didn't, and in correcting it this way made themselves look even worse - fixed a mistake with a screwup. Not super smart, guys - trust your instincts. You thought 8 was a good idea, turned out to be too devastating (for crybabies and whiners, imho... but whatever, suit yourself to which market you are looking to bend to) - but if you thought 8 was good, how the heck do you justify 3 as better?? Makes no sense, along with many other changes and policies you continue to press. Just leave well enough alone!! -Phil

Pocket infinity was indeed overpowered before, but they then made it underpowered. Bit ridiculous.
-
this sounds like a fair balance to me. bump.
-
It's not coming. Bungie hypes EVERYTHING including what they will patch. Two months ago they said this. Their words have become really cheap.
