If the potential gear drops from bosses are going to be this low of a percentage in the drop system, then we should be able to do the Raid at least three times a week instead of once on normal and then if possible once on Hard just for boss loot. Having three attempts on normal and only having the reward you once and each successive time you can only get loot from bosses would be a fair compromise in my opinion.

You can raid 3 times a week if you have 3 characters.

Edited by v3NTTi: 11/30/2014 7:27:23 AMQuestion for everyone If I complete hard first, will I still get loot rolls after bosses on normal?
-
I can't get people got the raids

Edited by KUNBALL: 11/12/2014 9:30:25 PMThis is a design choice to limit your progression in a game that has very little content. Same reason why they patched the loot caves, added the baby bumper for the last boss, having to decrypt the engrams, and no ability to trade. These are some of the examples proving that bungie is trying every trunk in the book to slow us down in hoping that we wouldn't realize how lacking their game is. edit: I forgot to list our favorite RNG

Edited by Fatgirlslayer : 11/30/2014 3:30:43 PMDisagree...You can do raid twice a week per character already...You sound greedy and not willing to wait. Everyone wants the game to be their way...games are built a certain way in order to keep players coming and interested...You want everything now....WoW raid once a week and they take hours upon hours to complete
-
It's mostly because you will be able to raid more if you get Crota's end raid.
-
Its honestly fine the way it is. In most traditional MMO you could raid for weeks before getting a piece of gear, especially in a guild that uses DKP.
-
Exactly, I carry a team of noobs through the raid at least 8 times a week just to help out, and I don't get shit after the first time, I basically sit there and watch them get exotics and I get nothing.
-
Create 2 more characters play on hard and normal and there's 6 a week right there
-
-
Any more raids per week and we might all be level 30 by December 9th ;) they can't have that now can they
-
Welcome to RNGesus. The solution: get 3 characters. RNGesus is your Vault. Now get over it and KILL IT!
-
Have a read of some of the other suggestions: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/77092169/0/0 I think we don't need to lift the whole one reward per character per week thing, we just need to refine the current system so things you've already gotten are less likely until you get things you don't have. The addition of a raid vendor would also help to ease some of the problems that people are having.

Level up your other toons

Edited by kellygreen45: 11/13/2014 2:19:53 PMAgreed. But until Bungie sees the light---and responds to player frustration on this----the best way to fight back is to level up alternates. So level up another character of the same class to level 20. Then give that alternate the armor and weapons from your primary character...and you have another high level character that's ready to raid. My primary character is a lvl 29 warlock. But I also have a lvl 28 warlock and a lvl 28 hunter. So that means I get THREE cracks a week at all the endgame activities. The raid, the Nightfall and the weekly heroic. So not only does this mean I get three cracks at getting raid weapons. I get two cracks at getting warlock armor plus the one crack at getting Hunter armor. Even better, I get three cracks at getting legendary/exotic weapons from the Nightfall, and can earn up to 27 strange coins per week simply doing the Heroic strike on lvl 28. Which means you'll have enough strange coins (and probably motes of light) to buy whatever you want from Xur each week So no more pressing my nose to the window longingly (because I don't have enough coins) next time Xur sells Suros.

Raid loot is working as intended Also purchase the Dark Below DLC for $19.99 Read more here: http://www.bungie.net/en/event/darkbelow

Bump. Three times a week would be better (as long as RNGesus in still the dominating factor for loot drops)
-
I understand your frustration, but if you can beat the raid, what's the rush? We all know our 30 doesn't mean much as far as skill
-
3 characters will get you three raids a week, problem solved.
-
Make alternate characters and swap gear. Did this since week one and I've gotten all the raid weapons in the VoG
-
Also, I am assuming that as new content comes out you will be able to raid each raid once a week.
-
True. If I can remember correctly, in World of Warcraft you could do a raid as many times as you wanted to.
-
You can do it six times but new just need to make more characters
-
Bump.
-
How about a cap on the amount of time you can raid across all characters so you can run it as many times as you want with whichever character. I shouldn't have to level three hunters to get one to 30...
