Why does $60 seem like the standard?
This video is about the current prices of games, I know this is off topic but I wanted to post in the place where it could get the most attention. If you have time to watch this 5 min. video please do and let me know what you think.
[b]EDIT:[/b] To clarify, this post is not meant to be a complaint. It's supposed to be an honest query to get people thinking about something they might not otherwise think of.

If bungie manages to sell only 10 million copies thats 600 million not even counting limited edition 99 dollars and sold out ghost edition 150 dollars plus 45 for "season pass" then dlc for the next 10 years. I would say they would have success. Is 60 too much for a game? I don't think so. Are companys hard press to recoupe costs? I don't think so. Unfortunately as evidenced by CoD the quality vs. Profit is not always equal.
