Bungie is fixing things on their end and changing things as the game is being played, Anyone who spent hours grinding away in the Strike will notice that some tiny things changed here and there with some glitches randomly occurring. Bungie is working actively to fix things on their end, but the fact is that the PS4 extended beta is most likely due to the fact simply that Bungie isn't familiar with their infrastructure so they agreed to terms for their benefit and ours. Remember the beta will be down for two full days, most likely anything that is major that requires fixing will be adjusted during that two day period. Yes it sucks that we are getting this message, but the number of problems also increases the likelihood that the beta will be extended to further test and fix problems. I know most of you are most likely not veteran MMO players, and from the sounds of things not beta players either. Bungie did not give us a Beta to hype us up or give you free stuff, they did it to test things and to find errors. We are finding them and that will make the full game better. This is their first game like this, it's an open world mmo for lack of a better description and it's not an easy endeavor. Blizzard, the creators of World of Warcraft have been at it for 10 years now and still screw things up. Give them a break and relax a bit and take confidence in the knowledge of what you are doing. You, right now, getting an error and unable to play are helping in the development process of a game, You are contributing to making Destiny the best game it will ever be.

Having the centipede issue as well. Any luck figuring it out yet? My NAT is 1 and I was able to play yesterday night, too. Have tried LAN and wireless to no avail.

Mine worked fine yesterday and today. Took my wife to dinner and have been getting this error since I got home. Gave up for the night now.

I've also got the problem now, with no clear way too fix it. Anyone know of a way to contact Bungie to let them know this has happened to us? *Edit* Just sent a tweet regarding the error to #bungiehelp. See if that gets their attention, others might wanna do the same.

I have 2 ps4's rigged up at home. Had the centipede error for over 10 hours. Worked fine on the first day. When I try starting the error pops up on both consoles, where as my friends account works on them both. So it can't be connection my end. I have signed up to there website, downloaded the ap for my phone which says I've not created a character. (Possible saved data corruption) used the vault to transfer items. I even used another beta code and it threw up this response; "You have successfully upgraded the trial version of destiny beta to the full game. You do not need to download anything, you can now launch the full game from the context area." Sounds great right... But we all know the full game isn't out till September so maybe this could be the reason behind the centipede error? Regardless I'm still getting it, I just hope they fix it by the 26th so I can get the beta emblem, and be able to play more than just one day of beta.

Can someone from Bungie comment on whether or not there's a way to play the beta on a college campus that has an NAT Type 3? I'm frequently seeing that issue on here; it would be nice for someone from Bungie to provide more guidance since we can't change a college NAT Type. Plus, there's no phone number or e-mail we can contact Bungie at; the least they could do is provide helpful responses to the questions on this entire forum. Been getting this centipede error for over a day now. I haven't been able to play the beta at all.

I have the centipede error too. What makes me mad is that they haven't even said anything about it, not even a "we're working on it". They're completely ignoring the errors. All I can say is that these issues had better be fixed by launch day.

Im on a NAT 1, fast University WiFi and I still can't get on. Bungie's trouble shooting website is no help since we don't get access to your routers on campus. I have literally never had a problem withe any other game before and would love to have this fixed so I don't have to cancel my preorder.

I believe its a corruption of your profile save on their servers. My profile just started getting the error, cant get past the first screen (press X). It says the error is Centipede and blames network, but my network is perfectly fine. The reason I think its corruption is that if I sign into my friends account on the same PS4 it starts up perfectly fine. A possible and temporary fix would be add the ability to reset our profile. Try using the Destiny app on your phone, mine claims that I have yet to create a character even though Ive used it before and created 2 characters.
