So I fell into the trap that so many others have found already, accidentally created a new account that I did not want and linked that with my PSN id. I already unlinked my PSN id from that account, but it is still not available to be linked to the account I actually want it linked with. How long does it typically take for the system to recognize that the PSN id is free to be linked again? Edit: It's now almost 24 hours later and I still get "That account is actively in use, and must be unlinked before you can use it on this account." :( Edit 2: No change after 4 days. Mailed bnetbugs, but no response (probably swamped due to public Beta, might try again when the dust has settled in two weeks or so) [b]Edit 3: Well, it took almost a year, but I was finally able to successfully link my PSN ID to my Bungie account.[/b] I think what made it possible in the end were the changes to the user account database backend that also saw support for Facebook and Google authentication getting discontinued. Now I'll never join up with Destiny after this miserable experience, but at least I'm good for whatever the next Bungie game will be. :)
