Amusingly we spotted it on the same dropship from the E3 Demo :)

Edited by Prototape: 3/11/2014 4:45:34 AMNice :p I'm surprised I even noticed it, even more so being able to capture it on Youtube. The ship flies by so fast :L

Edited by Charlemagne: 3/10/2014 10:37:32 PMThe good ol' days. Edit: Well, some of them at least.
-
Forces of the City. I believe they run the Guardians and make things like weapons and vehicles, but I can't be sure.
-
Considering it's inscribed on a lot of weapons and at least this ship, it wouldn't be such a stretch. There's also another symbol on a few guns seen here. Considering FOTC has its own symbol (DeeJ's avatar), I wonder what this could be.
-
I think that symbol is from one of the many manufacturers in Destiny's universe. It could also be an emblem or something that was put on by the player. Good eye finding that.
-
Edited by Prototape: 3/11/2014 4:44:48 AMI'm thinking so. So maybe FOTC makes the special weapons for Guardians, and that no name symbol makes general weapons. Or maybe I'm just over-complicating things and the first assumption is more likely. But the weapons with the FOTC logo on them look a lot more unique, so I feel like they're a bit more prestigious.
-
I think it's something like that too. They probably give the Guardians their basic weapons, armours, and vehicles; the minimum to get around and survive. You can probably buy better weapons from them too, but they will be similar. I imagine each major manufacturer will have different kinds of weapons with different looks and feels.
-
I'd enjoy a system like that. As cool as it sounds to find weapons out in the wild, it'd be nice to have something to upgrade to back at the tower.
-
That is confirmed. There are merchants/vendors in the Last City where you can buy, sell, and upgrade your armoury and arsenal.
-
Aw yis.

There's a lot of stuff that I can't wait to hear about at GDC and E3.
-
Dat GIF. I know, I'm mostly looking forward to GDC, I really enjoyed the last one, they handed out a lot of information. E3 was great because we saw some of that information in action, but still, I like knowing the concept a bit more than I do seeing it. If I were to play Destiny without knowing what it was trying to achieve, I don't know if I'd value it as much.
-
I know exactly what you mean. This way we get to all the hard work they've put into it.
