didnt cry once.
Yui's passing and Yuri seeing her siblings at the end of episode 12 almost got me. Otonashi and Kanade meeting at the end made me happy. good stuff.
it was pretty good, im glad i finally got around to watching it.
next up is FLCL (finally...)
then Sound of the Sky
then Tokyo Godfathers...
i have a long list...

I didn't cry while watching it either, although the bit in the train tunnel with Otonashi got me very close. The only show that has actually done that so far has been After Story, I guess it takes the big guns to make me shed a tear :l Who was your favourite character in AB? and why? :D
-
i cried a lot. sadder IMO than Clannad. although After Story was sadder than both. still, amazing anime and the musical score was out of this -blam!-ing world. every song was amazing.
-
Angel Beats! is currently my favorite series. Followed by Heaven's Lost Property. And after that, Elfen Lied.
-
She is truly best girl.

Good luck with flcl that is the apitamy of wtf japan

Edited by Failure4Life: 1/22/2014 10:54:13 AMDidn't cry? Understandable, there are no just sad moments (Excluding Yuri's past) most of the powerful moments are bitter-sweet. Those two... That was both a very happy moment while also being so sad.

Good anime, though it's not as good as some of Key's other works. If you're ever in the market for some real emotional bludgeoning, try Clannad and Clannad After Story. Feels will be felt.
As a side note, I almost cry at the graduation ceremony at the end. Every time.
-
It was really good, the Japanese dub is a hell of a lot better than the English, especially Naoi's voice.
-
Yeah I haven't cried once yet either, but I did get a little hazy once or twice. Still need to watch the final few episodes.
-
I cried from it at least once (I can't recall the exact number of times) It's almost been two years, so I would definitely like to watch it again sometime.
-
then Sound of the Sky
Good, somebody with taste.
-
Angels Beats was okay, but I don't get the hype for it.
-
I watched and enjoyed Angel Beats as well, and I also didn't manage to get anywhere near as emotionally wrecked as some people said they did. I suppose I just didn't relate.
-
Edited by burritosenior: 1/21/2014 11:46:06 PMI watched it in one all day sitting two weeks ago... did not care for it. I don't really see how anybody could be emotional over it at all except for maybe the train part and the ending. But... To each his own.
-
Edited by Byrne: 1/21/2014 11:21:08 PMI love that Anime. I don't cry at all. Anime seems to be the only thing to bring me close emotionally.
I've pretty much locked away my ability to cry which means something is probably wrong with me... Regardless of my own problems,
I still get hit in the feels hard enough to go numb, and Angel Beats! was one of those times.

Edited by God: 1/21/2014 11:33:50 PMI remember watching Angel Beats and finding myself severely disappointing by the lack of beatings by angels. I suppose the next logical thing to do is watch Beating Angel.
