Depends of who does it ... and which you played first.
Halo CE (to me) was way better on the PC than the xbox.
Even taking out the multiplayer aspect, it just felt better. But that could be based on just the fact I played it on the PC first.

Wasn't Halo originally being developed as a Mac title? Technically mouse and keyboard were the original controls

True ... but that was with Bungie (an original Mac platform developer). The job of porting it to PC came down to Gearbox ... not that big a job given the original xbox was basically a PC with a custom OS (although UI & device management still used the direct-x framework). Loved what they did with multi-player though ... custom maps, local servers ... if only the later releases of halo had learnt from this release.
