Ps4 , unless Sony considers to charge to access multiplayer ill go with it...

Yeah I kind of wish XBL would move toward being free, espcially with all the monthly fees for various apps, premium access to online content, etc. You know XBL is getting cut of that too in addition to the monthly fee. I'm sure that free probably won't happen though because it's a significant revenue stream for them...

the issue at least for me is microsoft picking on the developers work and charge the consumer for what the developers wish us to experience , i do hope Sony or Nintendo dont do that otherwise i might go back to retro gaming...lol

It has everything to do with server and bandwidth costs. The developers generally don't provide those services, microsoft does. Those costs are why PS+ now exists, even after sony said they would never have a paid service.

if i wish to acess the multiplayer vertent of any game i bought i dont have to pay sony for that , ps+ wich im not a member offers free games , discounts and stuff like that, difference is i dont need to be a ps+ member to access online multiplayer, if you have intenet connection microsoft forces you gold membership or you wont play online i think it kinda sucks...but thats me...
