Classes: Mass Effect vs Destiny

So as I'm beginning a theory about how many and what the roles of each class in Destiny would be, I ran smack into someone who did a sci-fi class-based action-shooter before: Mass Effect. No, I don't expect Bungie to flat out rip off Bioware; I'm just suggesting that the Destiny classes would perform similar roles as their Mass Effect equivalents. I highly doubt they'd share any specific details, but the overall role (tank, crowd-control/suppression, sniper, etc) of each class is similar. Mass Effect --> Destiny: Role Soldier --> Titan: tank class, lots of shooting and not much of anything else. Inflitrator --> Hunter: sniper class, meant to support heavier classes with precision shooting and technical support. Perhaps able to repair armor as a side talent or ability. Adept --> Warlock: crowd-control/suppression class, using supernatural powers to corral and destroy foes. Vanguard --> Vanguard: utilizing magic and combat to annihilate enemies. (Specifically how can vary. Destiny's Vanguard can mimic ME's by focusing on weaking enemies, buffing self-defenses, and specializing in close-range combat, or Destiny could simply have its Vanguard pump himself full of defensive magic, or blast a weaker version of Warlock powers. We'll see.) Engineer --> ?: fully technical class focusing on using gadgets to do most of the fighting for the character. (This could be done with deployable turrets, drones, mines, or any number of possible devices.) Possibly also could be a (primary) healing class to repair armor and/or ship damage. Sentinel --> ?: blending technology and magic to debuff and destroy foes with minimal emphasis on shooting. Maybe another healing class. I'm going to guess Destiny will have seven classes because this is Bungie, and if you don't know then welcome to the community, Bungie loves seven (the community is even named the Seventh Column and that's all you need to know about that. As for what that seventh class could be, maybe a light mix of combat, tech, and magic that dabbles even more shallowly in each talent than the double-talent classes? I don't know. Does anyone else think I might be onto something or am I just crazy?
