You know your "event" is a complete failure when people would rather toss a grenade at the ground and kill themselves over and over instead of participate.
Crimson double was designed by a doorknob humper.

That describes Bungie quite well.

I need that 320 ghost dude. I need it. This is the st efficient way.

Edited by Apollo BSG 75 H: 2/11/2016 3:01:45 PMIn my opinion....What is the biggest problem with Destiny.....the grind...its just not right....into year two of a ten year plan....people are tired. It's becoming about the game of Grind and not Destiny. I want to play Destiny NOT Grind. This Grind is a self-inflicted wound....stop destroying a great idea. I'm sold on Destiny but resent the grind created by the RNG loot drops folks are complaining about. Let's get back to gaming man!
-
It's the RNG loot drops ...I love Crimson Doubles...but can't get the loot....I see their logic...and it's reasonable under the circumstances I'm afraid. I don't participate in this kind of farming ...but won't blame them. Increase the loot drops....GOOD loot...and folks will get back to playing.

(Reposting my original in each of these threads) 1. Agreed. Bungie, I'm just a simple gamer trying to fill my free time with something meaningful or entertaining...Destiny has been neither. The only reason I've put in so many hours is to help the new comers find there way. Once The Division drops in March I'll be moving on. 2. All that aside, I feel like you guys at base only had to do a few things to make this 'event' actually worth anything more than a first glance. You know darn well Crimson Doubles has no substance. It's simply a GLORIFIED DOUBLES in rotation. How it could've been better 1. Have Daily and Weekly bounties for CD 2. Increase drop rate for event specific legendaries...it's why we're playing! 3. Make it worth winning. Give the winners 2 or 3 post-game rewards and losers 1 or 2. As of now it's more beneficial for teams to self-destruct to get the matches over with asap rather waste 10min of their time for A SINGLE BLUE ENGRAM! Conclusion: Look, I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but rather guide you in steps to the right direction. You've got to remember that this is as much the player's game as it is the creator's.

We played 2 guys using ToM. They would shoot till they died at the start of each round. Its pretty sad when 0eople will willingly die just to get to the disappointment of the rewards screen for that minute chance at a 320 ghost.
-
That's Rng failure, not a failure of the event. During srl I got my 320 helmets and class items from not racing.
-
Bump.
-
Don't play in the Crimson doubles show bungie we will not stand for this , don't log in on destiny , don't be a stat , so they can say this event was a success don't play destiny !!
-
I honestly have fun with the event, so in my book its not a failure

Edited by Game Over: 2/11/2016 12:44:36 AMLmao, people are doing that? Wow I might have to do that..beats playing sweaty in what suppose to be a fun event..this is a direct response to sbmm

True story. Almost every other match was exactly that. Grinding for the ghosts. And losing within 2 minutes of starting a match is a fast way to get them. But I was gonna complain about the wins.
