We need an ongoing, chaotic war zone area

I think it'd be -blam!-ing amazing if we had a large open area where different enemies were battling it out. Sort of like when "the enemy is moving against each other", but something that wouldn't end. Then, some big -blam!-er like Urzok could show up occasional and really make things crazy. They could make the enemies in that area more powerful, like level 40 or 41 maybe. That way, you couldn't just use it like a loot cave. You'd have to stay on your toes and really fight. Maybe it's just me, but I love that idea. It'd be like the Court of Oryx, but a big chaotic battle, instead of quick boss fights. Anybody else think so? Edit: remember those times in Skywatch when the enemy would move against each other, then the Wolves would show up, then a warsat would crash, then Urzok would appear and raise hell? I'm imagining something like that, but all the time and with high level enemies. Bungie's interns could put that together in their spare -blam!-ing time. There wouldn't need to be new dynamics, play modes, enemies, or whatever else. Just put a bunch of battling aliens in some place like The Blast (since it's out of the way leads to nowhere on Patrol). It's simple, but would be a significant PvE update.

    Lol everyone popping supers would crash the game. If you think the crucible is bad you won't have words for how horrid the lag, frame rate drops, and connections would be.

    • Maybe a pvevp area. Like you're fighting a boss but another fireteam arrives , now you gota fend them off if you want to keep your kill. Maybe I should buy the Division ???

    • Before the taken king, you could go to the skywatch to find: A warsat public event The enemy is moving against each other A pack of wolves are prowling Fall before urzok, the hated. It was utter hell, and although some enemies are level 7, the rest were 34 or 30. I think it can still happen, with the taken replacing the wolves but I've never encountered it myself

            Isn't that what the point of Patrols was............roaming, and finding yourself surprising squads/platoons/brigades of Fallen/Hive/ Cabal/Vex/Taken...... And noticing that on the hilltop is a prime location for some recon, and a beacon that needs activating....thus alerting all other local guardians the threat Dusting off the Khvostov and Patience.........lonewolfing through the map and picking off the aliens that are just about to sneak up and stab my Guardian comrades in the back! Set up the killbox

          • Pvp-enable flag, where when enabled allows you to be shot by players in patrol.

              • I proposed an idea similar to this. Make a large scale PvE gamemode based on the concept of horde fighting. Use the combined arms crucible maps. So we have a huge arena we could do this Fighting in. Make it work like zombies in cod. Each wave gets harder infinitely. more enemies, higher level, more majors each round. And you just fight endless hordes seeing how far you can get. Revives disabled or enabled depending on what difficulty you select. Add rewards based on checkpoints of intervals of 10 or 15 waves. 10 waves you get a legendary engram, next checkpoint a unique weapon/armor, next checkpoint an exotic or a chance at 310+ gear. Make it teams of 3 fight to survive the endless horde of the darkness.. Add a pvp element by making 2 teams of 3 to compete to survive... Last team standing wins. [spoiler]what do you think? Cause I know I'd play the hell out of this game mode.[/spoiler]

                  make it a giant pvp / pve patrol zone and which faction you are pledge to are your allies and they have a 3 way war at all times. kills and kd does not count like how cyrodiil works in eso and have just a massive war sprinkled in with strong mobs that can drop decent items. also an objective like salvage type artifact each faction is trying to capture for their alliance. the artifact gives you a boost for your faction may it be exp or stat wise while you are in the war patrol zone. they should also have a ranking on which faction is in the lead and depending on which faction wins the artifact and the weekly crucible matches will change like control for future war cult if they win or skirmish if new monarchy wins and if dead orbit wins salvage or clash
