Bungies lack of care in the game

Dear Bungie, I have been recently playing a lot of Destiny, a great game in my opinion. I have been doing cruicable, some story missions, and some vanguard heroic strikes to get better loot. And almost every time I try to play your game, I get disconnected by an error code message; beetle. This to me, is outrageous. Instead of trying to balance the weapons, and add new content, maybe you should try to give a crap about your servers? I spent $60.00 on your game (legendary edition), and I can't even play it half of the time. The most irritating thing is when they say it is your fault. They think that it's MY internet, MY lack of speed directing this problem. That's funny, because last time I checked, my internet is completely fine. Out of all of the games I've played on the Xbox, Destiny is by far the most unreliable when it comes to servers. Bungie, please, many people are complaining, so why won't you at least put some effort into it? At least try to give us a reasonable explanation, instead of saying to portfoward our routers (I have already done). It is honestly sad as well, Destiny has so much poetential to becoming one of the best games of 2016, but with this kind of care, you may as well put a sticker that says; "WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS" on the front of the home screen.

  • They do care, it just takes time to fix some of the things people request. They have been adjusting the matchmaking to help those with better connections. If you're having issues connecting then most likely your router isn't properly configured for Destiny. I used to suffer mad error codes, but now I'm cruising when I'm play.

    • A couple notes... 1. Yes, I agree that Destiny is more picky about networking than most other games. 2. Some of that is related (I think.) to the P2P connection of crucible, combined with the nature of moving fluidly in and out of public areas during missions and such... I don't know enough about the software side of networking to go into detail, but these are my observations. 3. As a major developer, I'm pretty sure that the people working on the network side are a different team than people that work on things like weapon balancing... So complaining that they are working on thing x instead of thing y probably has no bearing at all. 4. It's not about your network speed. A lot of people post about their uber l33t 9-bajillion-gigabit speeds. That has little or nothing to do with the vast majority of the network errors. I know none of that really helps you at all... But understanding some of what is going on might help ease some of your pain. This is a new experience for us and for them... Hang in there. Or don't, if that's your thing. After all, games are about fun and making you happy.

      • Have you checked the suggestions at https://www.bungie.net/en/Support/Troubleshoot?oid=12915 What up and down speeds do you get at speedtest.net?
