Can we at least get an update on future plans?

I am not one to complain but I do look at things critically. I avoided all of the hype when destiny came out, bought the game on a recommendation and played it without any preconceptions. I had no idea that it was intended to be, and I was happy with what it was. Destiny represented to me a game that was online and didn't have any subscription fees that had the ability to be dynamic and fun. I made so many friends and has so much fun during the first year. It wasn't perfect but I had no idea what they were promising so I was happy. Well when the game came out there were people screaming about how Bungie lied, how the game is not at all what they said it would be. I watched the videos. It wasn't that I was blind to it but I felt that Bungie still did a pretty good job. The game came out almost the way they intended with some of the blame being placed on having to keep the old gen console. Okay I can see that, the PlayStation 3 can't network like the PlayStation 4 (I can't speak for Xbox but I am sure it's pretty much the same kind of issue). Bungie's servers were never all that great but then again I live in Canada and we have pretty bad internet service too (look it up - it's one of the worst for developed countries...that's saying something). For the most part I found the whole discussion interesting! Today I come to the forums after a break because of school and people aren't saying the same things. Now they are talking about neglect and the fact that Bungie is focused on PVP only. I am going to admit, I kind of feel the same but for different reasons. I know PVP is easy to add to, it's really cut and paste with some slight shifts in the map or objective. Great but I am going to argue that both are ignored. Bungie right now is only focusing on their weapon balancing and server/matchmaking issues. And although they are important why not also work on some equally big issues, one I saw was map rotation, where the same five maps are occurring. Honestly I suck at PVP and I don't mind admitting it, so if people could mention more in a reply that would be great. The other issue is PVE. This is where most of the fuss is. People want content and that's hard to do so I wouldn't hold my breath for that. However there are some things Bungie can do. Bungie can keep us on the loop about what is going on just so that the players aren't feeling so neglected. Tell us that you are working on a DLC, or the second game. Just something. Another thing is if you are working on destiny two, why not do the same you did with PVP and do an open forum asking for improvements where the devs will answer what they can or provide their own feedback. I feel that a lot of the animosity right now is because PVE players like myself are reaching a point where we are asking ourselves, is it worth it to stick with destiny since we have nothing left to play and is it worth it to even buy the second game or any future DLC. As it stands there are enough issues on PVE, specifically the raid that won't let me reach the end game (lvl 320) so I have put the game down in favour of playing other new games, focus on university. I plan to watch and wait to see what happens but for now destiny sits in its case waiting. Tldr: there is a lot of animosity in the forums about destiny and not all of it is PVP - guys I don't play, but feel free to mention the neglected issues. A lot of problems with PVE players are stemming from lack of communication and people hate being in the dark. A lot of PVE players are not preordering or buying any new content until they know what exactly is coming and if there are improvements.
