I would love for you, Bungie to at least think about this suggestion. As a lover of Destiny, I and many others would like to see our favorite armors or weapons (From year 1) be able to get upgraded to Year 2 armor/weapons. Before the: Taken King, we had some many choices of what armor we chose to wear and what weapons we used, but when TTK came out, we lost that. Now armor that we loved is no longer decent. Here's an idea. When/if you beat the Taken King raid, you have a possible drop of a token. That token can be given to the weapon smith or your class vendor. You can upgrade your choice of armor or weapon to a year 2 version.
