Hello Bungie officials and fellow guardians,
I recently was browsing through YouTube and came across a short video by Twitch personality King Goliathan (sorry if I misspelled). In this video he expressed how he feels about the overall communication throughout the community and how it is lacking greatly. I am inclined to agree with him.
His thoughts sparked a memory I have regarding a CLASSIC MMO game; Phantasy Star Universe (Online). That title was and still is probably the most in-depth MMO I've ever played and I loved it very very much. It provided players with ALL the in-game tools you needed to create a party and advance in the game to perfection. The pop-ups that enabled players to display thought, ideas and other needs were at our fingertips. It left no guardian alone for missions and allowed that community to be very successful. The game was pay-to-play on top of your based online subscription and it was worth every cent of the $10.00 a month. Now dont get me wrong I'm not implying that you charge us to use an in-game LGF: Just make it happen.
King Goliathan pointed out that door by the Speaker which is closed and has always been since day one... And I mean day one. That area would certainly serve exceptional for a Guardians Hall where players can in fact find teams for whatever they may need help with or just to simply hang out. You can even go as far as only allowing the LGF to become active after you enter the hall. Have players sign a list to join a group and the rest follows. I'd love to compare ideas with this fellow guardian (KG) and try to create some type of petition to actually make this idea a reality.
Now Bungie, I understand how you guys are trying ever so hard to NOT make this an all around MMO, but I'll speak for THE ENTIRE DESTINY GAMING COMMUNITY and say that WE WANT THIS. WE NEED THIS. So many people can't find a good team and get trolled all the time. I feel bad for these players. I mean I only play on 360 until I get an Xb1, but I do what I can to help anyone who need it. I spend alot of time in the tower just waiting for a random who needs assistance. If there was a way for me to broadcast what I am actually doing there for so long the results would be unbelievable for the game. (I'm speaking in general for all players who might do this very thing). Perfect example is I just referred a friend to BUY and start playing Destiny actually quite a few people I've done this to and they only have myself to guide them. Now when I'm not on they have no guidance. Help us change that so the kinderguardians may advance equally. (Also PRETTY p.o'd refer a friend doesn't work for 360...COUGH...ISSUE...COUGH).
In closing I just really think this is a stupendous idea and would ultimately increase the way this game is played and HOW people play it. Don't forget about the perks that YOU could benefit from making this happen. You developers need to sit at the round table and really look at ALL the positives because we as gamers see no negatives in this idea. Make it happen. Thank you for reading my post.
To KG: Thanks for sparking my interest further about this. Take care guardians.

I'd love to see more customization for the characters personally.

Bump. A Guardian Hall is long overdue. Would be even better if it included a Clan Kiosk and a Clan Highlight board.

Destiny should have been like this in the first place. A co-op game should not make you leave the game and console to find other players...period. I would have never purchased Destiny if I knew Bungie was making it this way.

Great idea, but confusing poll choices...

Bump.

LETS MAKE DESTINY BETTER THAN GREAT. MAKE IT UNCANNY!

I think if enough players come together and rally up about this it can happen. Anything is possible.

Edited by Bungolickstaints: 12/1/2015 4:37:50 PMAnybody with common sense thinks this is a good idea. It goes against Bungie developers "philosophy" though to have any sort of matchmaking tools in the game. So this probably will never happen. Sad really.

Bad idea

Bump! I think this is a great idea. The only way to put a raid team together is through a forum which is a hassle that I refuse to be annoyed with. Its extremely time consuming and a buzz kill. Why have a game of such high magnitude be weighed down by a petty problem? Not to be a nag I been a rolling with bungie since halo1, but please add to the game at the very least a lobby to recruit (other then the tower to reach a bigger range of players) or a server browser to make the game better for us all. It would be much appreciated
