To all Crucible Players
Crucible is just broken right now. The only thing being used is pulse rifles because they are so powerful. Bungie is nerfing them I know but still can anyone use anything but pulse rifles. I mean right now you can't counter them at all. Especially Red Death. You can't use the weapons you want because you're just going to get auto killed. Are people gonna going to use any weapon that takes skill these days? I'm starting to wonder.

1 ReplyScout rifles seem to do alright mid/far range of you are consistently getting head shots but close/mid ranges it's somewhat difficult to outgun an accurate pulse rifle user especially with high impact low/mid rate fire

People complained about auto rifles. They get nerfed. People complained about hand cannons. They get nerfed. Pulses got buffed. It's a cycle. And will remain so forever due to people complaining constantly. Here's the scoop.. Peoples endless whining about how they get killed is just silly. Some guns SHOULD be more powerful. That's all there is to it. Otherwise, why have different choices in the first place? I understand a basic balance of sorts, but if you see that a gun is better than others your goal should be TO GET THAT GUN, not weaken it for others. It's called "incentive". Frankly, changing the meta every quarter does allow the game to change. I don't know f it's their actual goal, but it keeps it from getting stale. By the way, i can still have a pretty good game with any weapon choice. (Except hand cannons, which have become pretty useless on the giant maps).

1 ReplyI use auto rifles and try my best to at least get some kills or complete the bounties. I'm not a good player but I do the bounties hoping to get good rewards.

I use a year 1 mida and wreck. You just have to play according to your gun. If I'm running scout and sniper, I'm not going to be rushing to enemies thinking that I'm going to kill them. You have to play smart and retreat if needed.

I'm not that good, but that's because I don't play much crucible. Lately my k/d has gone up, and I've been using hard light. I bet after this nerf auto( hard light will be among them )and high rate of fire scout rifles will be next. Just play this game, the variety is getting smaller.

There are at least 4 other Legendary PRs that are better. 3 of them sold by vendors. If PRs are over powered and I'm not saying either way. It's due to the laser beam stability through perks. Not damage. Take away the stability and they aren't working at ranges that they do now. People that claim using the best weapons are either hypocrites that use them or idiots who knowingly choose an inferior option.

1 ReplyIs it my imagination or is it the more tweaking they do to the balance, the worse it gets? Maybe it's just me... Iron Banner during HoW my fave primary was Atheon's Epilougue. I'm not kidding. Once I got bored with the thorn and TLW I learned to keep the headshots going while dodging around. Since the last update auto rifle stability is so nerfed I can't use my preferred play style anymore. Pulse rifles just don't do it for me, I just can't be as mobile with them as I was with a high rate of fire AR. So I just don't enjoy crucible like I used to.

I get killed by every single kind of weapon, yeah, that iron banner pulse rifle is a killer but I don't see everybody using it, the lag is bad like always but everything else is pretty balanced.

This is why this games PVP sucks. I can go play battlefield, battlefront, any CoD, pretty much any other PVP game and I can kill with anything without having a disadvantage. This game, if you're not using the correct weapons, you are automatically on the losing side of the firefight. It's dumb, and it will never change.
