Well that part of the quest is realy boring but material gathering with ghost that shows spinmetal locations makes it lot faster + for kills use moons first missions part where ghost says "we woken the hive" and kill all thralls + some acolytes and then die to knight/rest of acolytes, repeat and u get it done prety fast

Sorry, but while the quest is time consuming and annoying (hate PvP) it is well worth it and therefore justified. I too am working on the Arc sword and attempted to complete it this morning by doing the Sunless Cell mission, unfortunately I was teamed up with players who were working on the two other swords and it just didn't workout for me. Will try again after work tonight. As far as the collection of resources part of the quest, you definitely need a Ghost that detects Spinmetal. By the time I had found all 10 pieces, I was nearly 60% as far as kills go. Since you're a level 40, I'd suggest you solo Phogoth and Omnigul, plenty of cannon fodder in both of those missions. By the way what character are you going for the Arc sword with?

You jus need to find the right 2 spots to go back and forth to as the stuff respawns. And it helps to have a ghost that can detect the material.

Swords are dumb anyway

Try playing with a friend, they can be running around Patroling missions to get you xp/rep while youre getting your materials done.

Bump, i hear ya. 100% agree. The sword quests were way too time consuming.
