Recently I have noticed an increase of heated debates between fellow guardians over cheesing the raids of Destiny. Seriously, CHEESING! Is that what you are really arguing about? So many other actual issues with this game and cheesing is exploding. Well lets debate the positives and negatives of cheesing. First "ask yourself what is a cheese?" And no cheddar, american, and swiss are not acceptable answers...Cheese is a discovery in the game that benefits the player in a way that designers(in this case Bungie) had not intended on. Now these discoveries are made in several ways. The gamer spends time in game looking for ways to come across these discoveries ie infinite res. An accidental discovery maybe but not likely. Then there are other pure accidental discoveries that go viral ie the LOOT CAVE!!!!!!!! ( I shed a tear every time i pass that cave because it set me on my path to take on Atheon....a moment silence please.......................R I P Thank you). Now for the ultimate cheeses du dun du duda duhh the BOSS CHEEESES Atheon and Crota. Yes those giant big for nothing bosses that are nearly impossible beat. Now listen when i say this...we guardians did not discover these. I truly believe that it is the Bungie Developers whom are revealing all of these glitches. Don't believe me...lets observe the following exhibits: EXHIBIT A: Who in their right mind has this epiphany " Jeepers! I have an IDEA...I'm going to run to the top of the stairs and face that giant head on. Once i have him in the perfect place for when he stops (and as long as my teammates do their job inside the portals) I will use my super and unleash a barrage of solar grenades at his feet and this big dummy will fall off the cliff into the world of no return". Bump that nonsense. When guardians realised that if you had your super well then your teammates can sit back and relax for a minute while you immediately charged at him and made him "pay what he owed" with little resistance...that was us. It went a little something like this: RAWR I Am the Great and Powerful ATHEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOON......SPALT. EXHIBIT B: If you have more than five hours of strike play or raid or any fireteam related event, you know that if the host leaves the game will automatically continue on without them. Sooooo how does one conclude the following: "I have a brilliant idea...i'm going to gather a guardians and challenge Crota. But I have to make sure that I am the host because i have a different plan of defeating a GOD OF THE HIVE. After Crota makes his badass entrance we're going to kill his minions then put him on one knee. And at that exact moment me, the host, remember me? yea you do...Hi...well while i have successfully quit (This next part is going to make you laugh) Crota will match his badass entrance with an epic DUMBASS move....he will forget to continue, meaning his dumbass will forget to get up. AND thats when a million and one guardians will give him a beating "fit for a god". Once again I say "bump that nonsense" Once again that was Bungie Developers or MAYBE testers not being 100% upfront. The guardian discovery involves a warlock to revive before the countdown ends on a wipe and all of you will lose your dreadful "presence of crota" buff. That was us. So like Jay Z, lets move on to the next. Why does one cheese? For many reasons. Either you have to work to continue to play this expensive game on your expensive console, while supporting your family, going to school, in a relationship, or your dog or gam gam died . Whatever your reasons are...I get it...I understand. Maybe it's a skill problem then I say "sucks to be yooou" lol I'm kidding. I know first hand that it doesn't matter whether you are good or bad at this game, have the time or not...Destiny hates all of us. Don't believe me, well I have been whoppin Atheon like he stole something since October and still no VEX. So once again i ask...why does one cheese? Well seems like guardians don't have the time, or skill, or are just tired of being treated like a cheap ho ( get your minds out of the gutter...i'm referring to one that can be obtained at home depot or lowes HAHA). Those rewards that we covet and secretly or openly (as seen by others on here) hate those whom have the fortune of wielding LEGENDARY AND EXOTIC GEAR. So what's the big deal? The only difference from those whom cheese from the firm "never will i cheese in this game" is that you don't get the feeling of "yes i navigated the obstacles of the developers and defeated the big bad man on campus" and received great rewards(once again luck plays a HUGE role in this). It is a great feeling after struggling and being rewarded. Now what are the negatives. Hmmmm don't worry...I'll wait... Oh yea..Bungie can and might or will ban anyone caught cheesing. So they say. I say it that way because if that were truly the case, a significant portion of Guardians would have been banned long before Crota.
