No skill... All pulse rifles
Is there any skill in pvp anymore? It seems like 75% of people in crucible are using pulse rifles. I mean I still see a few using scout rifles or even hand cannons. Can we do something about the other weapons that honestly cant complete with a pulse rifle? Most of pulse rifles have ridiculous stability but you gone add on the fact that they need no drop off for range as well as an insane dps. Instead of giving us the whack excuse for 5 weapons parts for 250 glimmer you should have put more focus in the unfairness of pulse rifles to any rifles. I dont know how many times I have come in contact with a pulse rifles from close to mid range wth an auto rifles and got destroyed in a few shots. Also can we add in the fact that when someone is taking damage they dont lose stability. We need to get off this Activision franchise of using COD mechanics in destiny. Anyone who said that pulse rifles arent OP are full of themselves because there is no balanced to the other weapons utilized in the game. Shotguns are perfect where they are at with the exception of conspiracy theory and party crasher. Hand cannons need a buff on stability. Lets not even discuss auto rifles because they need everything. The only weapon that is auto which is remotely decent is monte carlo. Suro regime's spin up takes too long to spun and the slow fire still sucks. Can someone explain to me how low impact weapons are outdoing high impact? Last I check hawksaw should not be shooting like an auto rifles and still maintaining stability. Its insane... As for snipers, we need to add swaying.. Get rid of aim assist regardless of how high or low it is because snipers should be hard to use not easy as if we are in call of duty. Instead of an rebalance again of weapons, maybe you should start all weapons from scratch and figure out how weapons actually work. The fact is... If guardians are using pulse rifles more than any other weapon in the game... It means your other weapons are crap and something needs to be done...

1 ReplyI don't understand all these posts about certain weapons not taking any skill to use. Snipers don't take skill, shotguns don't take any skill, hand cannons don't take any skill, nor do rocket launchers, supers, swords, melee, the list goes on. Next it will auto rifles! With any gun, you still have to be in the right place, at the right time and land your shots before the other player, that in itself takes skill and practice. Would you limit yourself to a shit weapon, just to claim the bragging rights of it taking more skill to use?

1 ReplyIts fun to go into iron banner or any mode for that matter with a hand cannon or auto rifle and finish top of the board when 11 (or 5) people are running with pulse rifles. It brings a smile to my face seeing my psn name in the kill feed with a different weapon, the best is knowing i wont suffer at all when the damage nerf hits while most of the forums will be in tears.

3 RepliesIt used to be No skill all auto rifles! Then it was, No skill all Fusion rifles! Then, No skill all Shotguns, then No Skill all Handcannons, then back to shotguns, now it's Pulse Rifles.... According to most posts on this forum everything is "cheep" and requires no skill. Funny....

3 RepliesThis is funny. You say non skill because everyone is using the most balanced weapon. Hmm, if I remember early before the first Major PR buff...Nobody used them, they were shit (apparently) and when you would come across someone in PvP using them they would be laughed at, or raged at if they killed someone. I always use them...since the beginning. Now because 3/4 of the Primaries are nerfed to hell people go to the Balanced guns. But I guess you don't need skill to get 2-3 full Bursts to someone's head. I can't wait for the Scout Rifle to be the next go to gun... Those will take no skill also.

2 RepliesOther weapons are crap because everyone cried and complained about every single weapon class at some point. Bungie has unfortunately listened to all the cry babies and nerfed nearly every single weapon class in the game. I've said it countless times, but no one is listening. Bungie can nerf and buff all they want. Balance cannot be achieved in this game because there will always be one class of weapon that will work best. Players will always gravitate towards what works. The only way you'll get balance and an even playing board is to give everyone the same three guns with the exact same stats and perks. Otherwise, there will always be crying and complaining. Wait and see after December's "balancing patch". About a week later you're going to find out what the new OP class is, then the cries for 'nerf it' will begin anew.
