I made a list of all the possible new Pay to Win consumeables that apeared in the database today:
Warlock Level 25 Starter Pack Contains a Level 25 Boost, Subclass Infusion, and Telemetries.
Titan Level 25 Starter Pack: Contains a Level 25 Boost, Subclass Infusion, and Telemetries.
Hunter Level 25 Starter Pack: Contains a Level 25 Boost, Subclass Infusion, and Telemetries.
Subclass Infusion: Fully levels your currently equipped subclass.
Heuristic Light: Grants an additional Moldering Shard when conquering a foe in King's Fall.
Void Shackles: Barbed shackles of a material that is painful to the touch. An inspiration to defeat the Hive. Increases XP gain from Hive for 10 minutes.
Spent Displacer: Were the Vex sent here because you are a threat in their future? An inspiration to defeat the Vex. Increases XP gain from Vex for 10 minutes.
Bone Trinkets: No question what these were carved from. Only who. An inspiration to defeat the Fallen. Increases XP gain from Fallen for 10 minutes.
Campaign Medals: Mementos that brag of past military successes. An inspiration to defeat the Cabal. Increases XP gain from Cabal for 10 minutes.
Spark of Light: A dose of nootropic energy that increases your experience gain. Lasts 30 minutes.
Note: Spark of Light is in the database twice with different descriptions, so I assumes the new versions for possible pay to win.
The new Spark of Light seems similar to the old Focused Light from red bull code and the new class starter kits seem to be similar to the old Spark of Light with the instant level 25 gain.
[EDIT]
Just to be clear: This is full speculation. Bungie did not confirm pay to win items for silver yet.
What makes me belive for this items to be for sell by Tess is:
1. the timeing for these items to appear. The silver store just opened and christmas is around. I'm sure christmas noobs love this shit.
2. when you go to the refund section of Tess, it says "consumeables are not to be refunded" which lets you speculate that consumables are at least planned by bungie.
Yet none of this is offical.
[EDIT 2]
Luke Smith posted on Twitter that Drop Rate Consumeables will not be sold for silver:
Indomitable Light: Increases likelihood of weapon and armor drops from your next King's Fall foe.
Valorous Light: Increases likelihood of weapon and armor drops from your next Heroic King's Fall foe.
At least some good news!

Edited by OmegaNutte: 10/14/2015 11:50:50 PMAll of those items seem to make starting a new character simpler or make it easier on new players to get caught up. None of them will make them "better" by paying, simply let them catch up to is Day 1ers with less grind.
-
Guys they're already exp boosters in game, that are bought with real money. Spark of light and red bull promotion. If you think that the exp boost are pay to win you should said that before they implemented those
-
I don't see any items that are "pay to win" listed.
-
As long as they don't sell anything that gives an unfair advantage in pvp (spawn with heavy or something ridiculous like that), they can do whatever they want.
-
Pay-to-win and pay-for-convenience are two separate things.
-
SHAME Bungie....only shame for you!

silver is next to legendary marks confirming its perceived importance by the devs to the game. destiny will end up being pay to win, it already is. can't afford dlc? you automatically lose lol good day friends

http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=181613460 LUKE SMITH
Couple things: The Valorous/Heuristic/Indomitable Light were Three of Coins-like buffs sold by the Speaker for Motes+Planetary Materials (I honestly don't remember exactly what they cost, [but it was never Silver] I can't keep the entire economy in my head) but for a variety of bug-related reasons they were removed. They were also - as has been pointed out - in the data files before TTK shipped. Someone PM me when Zoba hasn't talked about TLW for a month (seriously, move on). Clock starts now ;b
Small correction: - heuristic light is not new from Tess update: Planet destiny King's fall raid gear & perks article from 30th september already mentions it http://planetdestiny.com/kings-fall-raid-gear-perks/
-
I fail to see how any of that is pay to win
-
We also need to remember that, just because something shows up in the database, there's no guarantee it shows up in game. Case in point: the second set of Vault gear that never made it in game, the Vesta Dynasty 347, the Superblack shader, etc. In some instances those things have been remade and put into the game at a later time (Boolean Gemeni = Vesta Dynasty 347, Old Guard shader = Superblack) but there's no guarantee those things will ever make it into the game. The database is fluid, don't panic yet.

What we need is some real pay to win for old guys like me with plenty of disposable income and deteriorating video game skills. Like if some 13 year-old in the Crucible slide shotguns me and then starts t-bagging, I should be able to immediately buy a nuclear bomb that kills everybody on the opposing team and then suspends play as I go from player to player and t-bag them while they watch a little image of me in the corner of their screens with a middle-finger extended, flipping twenty-dollar bills at my TV. Wake me up when we get that.
-
Next you will see a nerf in the effectiveness of motes to level gear, since they just made them harder to get. They already nerfed mission experience gain to useless.
-
I'll buy spark of light
-
Nice now china will be involved in powerleveling just like in wow sad😢
-
I hope they sell the subclass infusion. I dont have time to level up my locks subclasses. Would be Nice. Games like battlefield etc also do this.
-
None of those are pay to win?? You're an idiot first and foremost.

-
Sell them for exotic shards the aura things as in.
-
Void shackles and the other XP boosts have been in the database since vanilla, probably won't be implemented as buyable consumable.
-
All these items listed above still, really make no difference to the game itself. I anticipated a lvl boost for new players as, like you say, xmas is on the way. XP boosts are really only relevant to new players as by the time this stuff comes out you shouldn't need an xp boost unless your an xmas noob. That brings me to the kings fall item and back to my last point, that it will only be needed by new players who have yet to do the raid but want a boost to the drops they receive. Personally I really don't care about consumable item, they don't alter the game or lock us out of content. all they do is give new players a way to rank up quicker. However as soon as they start selling weapons and armour well....... now that's a different kettle of fish.
Heuristic Light: Grants an additional Moldering Shard when conquering a foe in King's Fall. Indomitable Light: Increases likelihood of weapon and armor drops from your next King's Fall foe. Valorous Light: Increases likelihood of weapon and armor drops from your next Heroic King's Fall foe.
Additional moldering shard! SO HARDCORE! O_O Also additional items for the real life busy ppl having less gameplay time will welcome this option. If you have plenty of time on your hands then play the raid across 3 chars and have fun. This doesnt impact YOU in any form or shape.
-
There is nothing pay to win about XP boost items. Literally, nothing. Red bull gave XP codes, you had to buy them. Did they change the game? nope. Besides, that list shows consumables. It says nothing about silver requirements.

Edited by Bieltan: 10/14/2015 8:46:23 AMLuke Smith just said on Twitter that drop rate consumables wont be sold for Silver. I'm sure many wont believe him, but its the first and only word we've had from Bungie over this. EDIT: link to tweet https://twitter.com/thislukesmith/status/654213224007503872 EDIT EDIT: he also addressed Nightfalls! https://twitter.com/thislukesmith/status/654215700572073984
