Received Gjallarhorn in Exotic Engram purchased from Xur
This is maddening. My light level is 281 and I just received a 160 weapon Gjallarhorn in an Exotic Engram from Xur for 31 hard-earned Strange Coins. Why hasn't this been taken off the random loot table for Exotic Engrams? I don't want an antique I can't use going forward in the game. I have enough exotic shards from all my other weapons and armor that don't upgrade from the previous expansions. I know that there is probably no chance of getting my strange coins back, but the devs need to take this off of the loot table. Put a vendor in the game that sells the old weak weapons no one wants to use anymore.
What's crazy is that this would never happen with a lesser Rare or Legendary Engram. I've never received Level 20 gear from one of those, it's always up to par with my light level. So why is it still on the more expensive and harder to obtain Exotic table? I feel very ripped off.

Xur carries a legacy engram per week. In the words of Bungie (almost not exact) Legacy engrams will drop a year one exotic at year one levels, and are purely used if you want to finish your collection of Exotics or if you want to have more exotics available for year 2 levels upgrade on the blueprint screen.
