I posted the other day showing that Bungie has reintroduced one hit body kill snipers (Eirene RR4 from the gunsmith with luck in the chamber).
The overwhelming majority of responses were negative towards me or towards the suggestion that this new sniper/perk combo was a bad thing. So I decided to carry on using it yesterday and found myself getting between 3-5 one shot body kills per game. Although some may argue that this is not an issue whatsoever, I see this as a negative turn, as IB and Trials return so shortly.
As you can see from this video I lucked out, but had Bungie never allowed for this perk roll I would have got 0 kills and probably died in the process.
So I suggest you watch the video and consider whether or not Bungie should re-evaluate their perk rolls (especially as we are about to lose shot package; why should one type of player suffer whilst another benefits?)

What does Tl;dr mean?

I said all along that Luck in the chamber would be so much better than final round! I don't mind the kill because it's all luck and they aren't doing it intentionally now. All I learned from this is that OP can't aim.
-
lel I have one

How can you plan around a sniper being 1SK when the bullet is chosen randomly..... Why would I intentionally aim for the body when there is only a 25% chance of it killing?
-
Quick everyone, go get that sniper!
-
Two body shot kills with one shot, the logical response... Shotguns OP, nerf now!!!

Bump.

And it was available to everyone, here comes the Salt Train Choo Choo

luck in the chamber
you gotta get lucky every now and then
-
It's luck in the chamber, you don't know which shot has it, so it's not broken. No one will be emptying rounds, or deliberately aiming for body shots.

Damn knew I should have rolled the litc
