So the community has appeared to have a fairly negative reaction to the Sleeper. I won't deny that the quest was simplistic and easy at best, but the weapon itself really shines. Lets look at some numbers: Black Spindle, which is considered one of the best single-target damage dealers, does ~76k per shot on Golgoroth. The Sleeper does ~155k per shot. The fire rate of the Sleeper is about 2/5 that of the Spindle (excluding reload). This is the equivalent of ~69k damage per 76k damage from spindle. What this means is that the Sleeper rivals one of the BEST SINGLE TARGET WEAPONS IN THE GAME, albiet with a single reload. However, the sleeper is a lot more versatile, as it doesn't require 3 rapid precision shots to maintain dps. TL:DR Sleeper is a pretty damn good weapon. Edit: For those pointing out that the Sleeper has only 7 shots, this thread is comparing dps, not total damage. Various other factors come into play at that point.
