Doing same strikes over and over and over ......
I personally like the new strikes.....I like how they will change from normal enemies to taken.......I do not however like playing same strikes over and over....doesn't matter if it heroic or Lvl 36 I get the same 3 to 5 strikes a night....it gets old.....I like the nexus and I like echo chamber but for the love of everything that is great in destiny I don't want to play those 2 strikes 4 times in 5 games......
I like omnigul.....I like winters run.....why every time I get in strike playlist it goes echo chamber....nexus....echo chamber....darkblade.....echo chamber....every once in a while it changes out darkblade for psions or Cerberus vae...where is the random strike playlist....and the same for exotics I thought we were suppose to have better chances of not getting something you already have in your inventory....well after 5 light beyond nemisis's....3 voidfang vestments....5 jade rabbits.....and 3 or 4 obsidian minds I think it's still broke....can we fix the strikes to where there is a chance they will be random....and fix the exotic drops.....

Edited by Mar: 10/9/2015 6:14:01 AMthey need to buff the unique strike boss drops, i've been trying for 3 weeks now to get the pistol from undying mind, i get it a ton in the strike playlist which because im trying to get this weapon im glad, but have yet to see it EVER drop, not for a single person. the only 3 drops i've seen is the warlock helmet from s.a.b.e.r, the titan helmet from darkblade, and the fusion rifle from dark blade (ONCE!). the drop rates on those are driving me insane more than the repetitiveness of the RNG system getting stuck in a loop and rotating between the same 3 maps... by the way, correct me if im wrong but isn't omnigul in the level 36 and heroic strike rotations? i've never seen it come up is why im asking.

1 ReplyYa the map rotation is screwy for sure. I try and stay in the same fireteam for as long as possible. Eventually people quit and all of a sudden im back in the beginning of the supposed rotation.... so sick of the same 3 fricken strikes.

Edited by The 7th fall: 10/9/2015 3:09:56 AMIt was in the patch notes that the lesser chances for repeat exotics only works on Legacy Engrams, not the current ones or year two exotics. And as for Bungie adding new strikes, they just put all the new strikes, with exception to Ceberus Vae strike, in one list, all the old in the legacy list, and the new and Ceberus Vae in heroic list. So really even though Bungie took two steps forward, they took three steps back in turn.

Oh sure it is level 20, but at least you aren't getting Undying Mind 90% of the time (Or in your case Echo Chamber. Is an Xbox user so Undying Mind is what is spammed over here). Trust me it is like a breath of fresh air. At first you'll be hesitant and suffer from PTSD and then when you're loading in and the dialog isn't "The Black Garden may not stay among us for long..." your reaction will be: "Wait...not Undying MInd? Freakin' serious? I'm not dreaming this right?" It will be in that moment you realize that the Strike Playlists can be more than 3 Strikes repeated over and over. And when you get the Archon Priest a second time in a row you will be crying uncontrollably, not because it is the Archon again but rather because it still isn't the Undying Mind. You will land on the surface of Venus again and kiss the ground thanking the Traveler that it is anything but Undying Mind.

Saw the bungie tag and was excited hoping that cozmo or the elusive deej was taking notice. Just the regular ol bungie help 5. Agreed. I really like the new strikes, but wish the old ones were included in the 36 and vangaurd lists, even if they don't have the taken included. This is just the same rinse and repeat of a few new strikes, which will grow old much faster if this continues.

It's the same thing with crucible. You play the same three maps 20 times in a row before you get a different one. Then it's back to the same three again. It's literally the same system as the "loot system". It's all supposedly based on pure randomness, yet feels set up to just piss you off to no ends.
