Another Guardian has lost his light

Hello to the Bungie/ Destiny Community, Many may not care because you have never gotten to know him, but as of October 4th 2015, Destiny lost one of the bravest Guardians I have ever met. His Xbox Gamer-tag was DangMrJones. He was a great man, and an awesome friend. I met him shortly after the launch of Halo Reach, we were playing Swat. He was a random guy my friends and I played against but we invited him to the Live party and began to talk to him, soon after that we became friends and played many matches together and even moved onto other games after people began to move away from Reach. He played all of Bungie's Halo games, and even loved to boast about the fact that he still had the Master Chief helmet from the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. He even got the Halo Legendary symbol tattooed onto his leg. He loved the games that Bungie made regardless of any glitches/bugs that made the game not fun for some. Then Destiny came out, we played together since day one, created a clan, and through playing the raids and POE found many more people who were touched by Jones. Jones was an honest person, he would tell you the truth, even if the truth hurt, and he would never say stuff behind your back. After the Xbox One came out some of our friends shifted to the newer console, but even though I have an Xbox One, I still stuck behind and played with him. I would like to say 90% of the time he played, I was right their with him. As I'm typing this I am thinking back on the time I was able to spend with him. One of the last conversations I had with him was about him not getting to finish the Kings Fall raid. He had gotten to Oryx multiple times, but people would call it quits and then he would lose the momentum to keep going. So, he would call it quits and try to come back to it at a later date. It makes me sad to think that I couldn't finally help him though that last part before he passed. The day of his passing (we played until the early morning hours of the day), before I got off we went to the Dreadnaught and played some Court of Oryx and beat the Argonaut rune, then we finished it off with some PvP. After playing PvP I said that I was going to get off, and that I would talk to him later. However, I am sad to think that I won't be able to talk to him later, and many other people will never to get a chance to talk to him or talk to him again. Where ever he is now I hope he knows he is missed, and that the world has lost one of the greatest guardians to ever make his legend known. Your friends will be waiting for you to respawn, and hopefully soon your ghost will tell you "eyes up, Guardian!" TL;DR: (well you should've read it, but I won't blame you) The world lost one of the bravest, truest, and most legendary Guardians October 4th 2015. He will sorely be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I may have only known him online, but I feel as if I lost a brother. We will be waiting for you to respawn.
