After having an hour long exploration of the Bungie.net Armoury, I saw a common Hand Cannon that caught my eye. It uses the same icon background as the Gunsmith field test weapons but it has a much different name than the other weapons have (Ex. Most weapons have their manufacturer's name then model. This Hand Cannon is named "Imprecation") and upon further inspection, it is "Sold" by the Gunsmith as well as a quest reward. It's description states: "A prototype from Tex Mechanica, sent along for calibration." You may notice one of the "Perks" is "Finish Ascending" with a Tex Mechanica logo. It tells us that we need to "Infuse this weapon for Banshee-44 so that he can send it back to Tex Mechanica." This pretty well confirms that we need to infuse this weapon that we get from Banshee as a quest item to get something. Many people may have seen The First Curse, an Exotic Hand Cannon, on a Planet Destiny or DPJ (I really don't care who you watch) video. I thought that icons for both the Imprecation and The First Curse looked similar. I compared the two and they both seem to be Tex Mechanica made (The First Curse is an awfully similar name to The Last Word) and they have almost identical stats (Except Range and Magazine size but keep in mind that it was "sent along for calibration") and perks (besides the Exotic ones) I also seen that it had "Quest" as a Source of obtaining it. My speculation is that you have to: 1. Reach a high(er) rank with the Gunsmith (Maybe 8?) 2. Go to Banshee-44 and get the Imprecation. 3. Get a special material to infuse into the gun (just straight up infusing it would be way to easy) 4. Get precision kills with the gun (assuming die to triple tap being on it) 5. (Possibly) dismantle Hand Cannon for "Parts" (not likely since Ace of Spades already has this) 6. After all steps are complete on the gun, go to Banshee and ship it off to Tex Mechanica. 7. Wait until the next Armsday to get the calibrated Exotic Hand Cannon "First Curse" [b]Keep in mind this is just [u]speculation[/u] so for we know, I could be 100% wrong.
