People are asking about first consoles. I wonder what was the first electronic game you ever played. The question is not limited to consoles and computers but goes beyond and perhaps predates many home systems to those little handheld LED driven football and baseball games, to that funky thing with two metal handles that made an electronic feedback sound.
I think my first electronic encounter was with Milton Bradley's Simon, that devilish four colored pattern chasing game.
What was yours?

Edited by MechanixX: 9/24/2015 6:27:39 PMMy dad was a big gamer so I had all the consoles growing up. Never got into handhelds. Started with a Sega Genesis and Road Rash.

Game Boy Color with Pokemon Yellow was my first.

Legend Of Zelda for NES. Was technically my older brother's, but I beat it first.

I think mine was Simon, too. Or possibly Pong. I didn't have the actual Simon, in all honesty. I had something from Radio Shack that played like 15 different games. It had a bunch of colored buttons, maybe 12? Can't remember as it was like 30+ years ago...

Super Mario Bros, it's terrible.

Metroid, then grand turismo, then call of duty, then skyrim, then borderlands, now destiny.

Some hand held that only had a mini game (it was in shape of STARWARS amphibious thing from episode 1) you had 3 lanes to dodge stuff

Ninja Fighter,an old early 90s LCD game, was my first LCD game that pretended to be Ninja Gaiden but it wasn't...I still own the game after all of these years, but sadly no longer functions :(

NES. Duck Hunt and Mario Bros. Back when that shit was new. Also played that terrible E.T. game on my grandparent's Atari (my uncle took the Atari & all the cartridges a few years ago before I could ask for it, I'm pmuch the only gamer in the family.)
