Xbox one controller problems

I had this problem for a while but while I'm playing MGS V TPP (Great freaking game BTW) this problem got to far. So my left analog stick is sticky or something because it always registers as up even if I'm not touching the controller. And sometimes when I press up I move at a snails pace. Also the analog stick gets stuck. Can somebody tell me if there's anyway to fix my controller besides buying a new one please?
i really got annoyed because I can't keep my box still:)
you got a deadzone. it happens from overuse(everything since joysticks were introduced has suffered from the problem). your only options are to replace the controller or stick.

    • X1 controllers are pretty stout. I've been using my day one controller since launch with no issues. Do you eat while you game? If so get some rubbing alcohol and clean the crap out of your controller. It dosent take much debris to cause a problem.

      • How much have you used it? I had a similar problem on the Xbox 360 controller that had two-three years on non stop use.

        • Check out battle beaver customs Get their little tool kit (fast shipping and quality tools), and get a pair of replacement thumbsticks I was having a similar problem with one of my controllers and taking it apart, replacing one of the thumbsticks fixed it completely
Microsoft told me it was past warranty and I should simply replace it
• Try cleaning it? Only I had that problem was on 360 with a 5 yr+ old controller that had tons of crap in it.

        • Had the same thing. Either send it in to Xbox for repairs or buy a new one. That's your only options.
