HoW Gone To Ground Quest is Glitched
Hi Bungie,
This is still an issue. My sister completed the quest yesterday and it did not allow her to turn it in. Then today the progress of the quest reset to 0 Shiplinks. Now, even after abandoning and reobtaining the quest, it does not appear active in the destinations/maps (as in: no purple triangle appears over the Venus Patrol), and when she patrols Venus no Shiplinks drop from killing Vandals or opening Loot Chests. She is completely unable to proceed in the HoW storyline and cannot activate PoE. How is she supposed to use the DLC she paid for in order to level up to 34 in time for TTK which she has also planned to purchase? Please advise on this issue as it has now been 4 months since the original post and your Loot Chest workaround is not applicable here.

1 ReplyHello! Ask her to dismantle the bounty and then clear the cache on her console. Here's how to clear your cache: Xbox One [spoiler]Completely shut your console off Go to Settings Go to Power & startup Press Turn Xbox off Once the console is completely off, unplug the power cord from the back of the console and let sit for ~5 minutes Power the console on and re-launch Destiny Please be aware that if you have enabled "Instant-On" your console may not power down completely when selecting "Turn Xbox Off." See the Xbox.com Power Options page for more info on switching to Energy-saving Mode.[/spoiler] Xbox 360 [spoiler]Completely shut your console off Once the console is completely off, unplug the power cord from the back of the console and let sit for ~5 minutes Plug the power cord back into the console and power it on. Re-launch Destiny Additional support for Xbox 360 can be found by clicking the link below. http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-360/system/clear-system-cache[/spoiler] When it is cleared, go back into Destiny, and grab the bounty. With the bounty in hand [b]only open the chests around the area[/b] instead of killing the enemies.
