I know that it was said that Osiris was once an apprentice of the Speaker and that it was the Speaker who banished him, but does that really mean much? Let's discuss! Edit - The lore says that the Speaker banished Osiris, because Osiris was becoming too obsessed with Oryx and the Vex. So he left, created a cult, became allies with the Nine and the Queen, and then just vanished? It makes no sense. Why would he leave his disciples behind, unless he took the old Speaker's place. He learned the truth about him the Speaker and the Darkness, so he took over and has been pushing us to take down Oryx ever since.
