I have come to believe that Bungie does not care about us lowly gamers when it comes to pvp lag. Whether intentional or not, if your connection sucks you need to leave. As long as we keep spending money Bungie is as happy as they can be. I posted multiple vids of issues earlier and haven't received any moderator or Bungie comments. Some of the vids may be questionable with a couple of missed shots but there were enough vids to show there are SERIOUS issues. ESPECIALLY IN IRON BANNER. I run into these lag issues with hits not registering so often now that every other pvp player encounter makes me want to throw the controller through the wall. I am extremely disappointed as I bought my XBox One just for destiny PVP. It's a lot of money to be so frustrated. At first I even thought the lag was my fault for being a new player and just not "hitting" correctly. I am painfully aware of the broken nature of PVP now though. I don't even care if it is just in plain Jane crucible, it takes the fun out of the game! Most games punish laggers (usually seems like controls are disconnected or some similar tactic), I don't understand why Destiny broke this trend. I have read that the matchmaking in TTK is going to be modified to allow latency based matchmaking. I'll try this but if we keep getting the cold shoulder on PVP lag, I'll take my game back for a refund.

  • Are you using WiFi? If so, please try switching to a wired connection temporarily. This is an important first troubleshooting step to rule out wireless signal strength/stability as a possible cause. Sometimes the lag you're experiencing can be due to latency introduced by WiFi. Switching to a wired connection temporarily is the first step in determining if WiFi-induced latency is causing your issues.
