Problem is that Destiny isn't an MMO. There's so little content in this game that making previous content redundant is a huge chunk of the game being cut out. No point doing the VoG raid or CE raid when you can jump straight to 40. In an actual MMO, you still need to do those raids as the progression doesn't let you jump from 1 to max level. Also this is a game with guns that handle differently and gave unique abilities. As opposed to swords that just go up in damage with new expansions dropping. People are going to miss the Fatebringer explosions and Black Hammer ammo. So if there was a new gun with the new damage cap but with the same ability then people wouldn't complain, but that's not how this game works. All you and Bungie have done is just shown how little you understand game design.
