I was just relaxing reading these forums and I ventured into the recruitment section for Trials and nearly every post requested other guardians to be "good."
So what does "good" mean, when you are looking for a trials team?
Honestly just curious. Are they/you looking for a certain medal score, k/d, kills, skirmish experience that qualifies as good?
-
Apparently having stats like mine.
-
Good means they can kick you if your worse than them
-
I would say being "good" at trials involves the following: - good communication - good teamwork - good accuracy - good decision making - very familiar with the map -positive KD in crucible (KD in trials is not as telling - killing an enemy over and over while they keep reviving and then losing the match because you never actually outplayed the opponents will give you a good KD and a loss) - and of course, good gear since level advantage is enabled
-
Good, 1.2+ kd
-
An individual's skill is not as important as their ability to work as a team. A team of 33s can go flawless even if they aren't the greatest players
-
Basically carry them or they'll blame any losses on you -.-
-
Shoot stuff and things
-
Be a good person...
-
Know what the -blam!- to do, have a mic, have a thorn/last word/hawkmoon/red death as your primary.
-
I look for k/d and it usually works.
-
get more kills than deaths....
-
I have been flawless 3 times and I only have 1.1 k/d on my tiran. We just play it smart. I tend to play as the patsy as my friends are excellent snipers. Stick my head out and hit a couple, and my friends snipe them down. I usually die in the process but my friends take 2 or even all 3 in the process. Works a treat.
-
I don't have the best stats but have been flawless a bunch of times, for me I look for people with positive trials kd, high medal score tells me you've played a lot of pvp which is nice too
-
That's the phrase scrubs use to get carried. Pvp ballers use the phrase "check my stats" to find other ballers.
-
Git gud
-
above a 1KD
-
In my experience, 'good' refers to an unattainable standard that tryhards expect. I say, f'em.
-
I believe it means that you can hold your own. To further explain it would be that you will generally go positive almost every game and understand different strategies and can adapt on the fly. Also superb map knowledge and awareness helps wonders as well. I think that covers it. Hope it helps :)
-
I think it mainly just means experienced

Edited by mrstayhigh: 7/20/2015 4:09:02 AMGood in ToO means for me to be decent, slightly above average in pvp. Communicate, know what ure doing, have exp. to go 9-0. Also being an advantage for the team for ex. If ure good in sniping u would kill one guy so that ur teammates can rush in with shotty etc.
-
Well first they had to git before they could good
-
Well, if you are good, then you are not bad. Obviously.
