Need more glimmer
Let's get right into it. I think completing missions and bounties should at least reward some small amount of glimmer. I reached rank 5 in Iron banner and to buy the weapons I was forced to stand in front of a spawn point shooting at the same enemies for an hour. Completing missions should reward glimmer, this is a no brainer. I'm thinking anywhere from 250-2000 depending on the difficulty of the missions or bounty. The max glimmer count should be raised too. Either 30,000 or 35,000. What do you guys think? Do you think it will make acquiring items too easy, or do you think it's a good solution to the existing glimmer farming techniques?

I agree with your glimmer cap arguement. Actually, I still don't understand why it's so low. Why cant the glimmer cap be 99,999 or more? If I want to hord my glimmer, doesn't that only hurt me, or my characters? Has Bungie ever made statement concerning/addressing this issue?

4 RepliesI think it's fine as is. Since the HoW drop, I've had zero problems with glimmer. Even when I get down to about 10k, I can easily make it all back up till I'm maxed and the cryptarch becomes my secondary bank. That's leveling several weapons/gear too.
