I'm sure lots of players have said this, but I do not have the time nor the energy to read through it all... You have three character slots.. Most players have at least one of each type like me.. If you haven't already get each to lvl 30 minimum and play strike list dragon... You are garenteed a rare engram which will either be a weapon or armor which will also boost your cryptarch as well do this for about an hour and you will have a lot of both weapon parts and armor upgrade parts. Also you can do weekly and nightfall repeatedly even though you got the final reward during play engrams still drop and it helps other players who are having trouble finding and beating these events, next you can do the same with raids and PoE... All in all, you have lots of chances to pick up engrams for free to get you what you need... Also doing patrols drop engrams and net you vanguard points which like crucible levels will give you a package which has gear you can dismantle if its weaker than what you currently have.... So there is litterly no way you should be complaining about not having basic materials... If anything complain that radiant materials can only be picked up once a week from the raid and no where else!
