Overrated games
Simple question What games do you think are most overrated?
This is completely subjective if course, but try to give an objective reason.
Some I would list are:
Unchartered1 - highly repetitive "wave" shooter
Gears of war series - same reason
Fallout3 - vats system was tedious and general shooting awful
Oblivion - levelling system was completely broken due to enemy scaling
Skyrim - same as oblivion, but to a lesser extent
Forza horizon - not really fair to list this as it's a great example of its genre, I just hate "open world" racers. Give me tracks and lap times any day.

9 RepliesGears of War is no where near overrated... Maybe to casual players but to people who play it competitively, no. Only time I heard someone say Gears of War was bad was after they admitted they sucked at it.

But it's not really accurate to say GOW's single player is the same kind of combat as uncharted 1 I'm no big fan of GOW, and I think it's had its day, but GOW's combat is more polished, usually more tactical and interesting - uncharted 1 is just monotonous, tedious waves of human enemies, frustrating and scrappy in execution

7 Replies-Halo(series), the series is [i]highly[/i] overrated, hell might be the biggest overrated game ever and it's past its prime and people refuse to come to terms with that. -Forza(series), besides the graphics which are eh compared to what I can get it's a mediocre lolracing game.

All uncharted games were so boring for me. Tlou did the same exact thing with the waves of enemies. Scrounge for ammo and items, move on. Put up 12 ladders, move on. Kill 15 guys, move on. Repeat.
