Team mates can really f you up
Your in a gun fight and your health is low so you decide to turn around and find cover. Then suddenly your teammate runs into you and pushes you right into the line of fire . Its so amazing -_-

Yeah same with me: during a hard mode VOG a teammate "accidentally" pushes you off the edge

It'd be real cool if my Team wouldn't walk in front of my -blam!-ing Sniper rifle. Just saying the back of them isn't my target, though if team killing was on....

I died cause a teammate pushed me off the ledge on Couldron. He slid into me and pushed me off the ledge and since I was on my Warlock at the time that equals instant death because the Worlock have the worst jump.

I want to say the collision boxes for players are huge and that's where a lot of it comes from. People do it without trying all the time. Then there are things like no friendly fire. Which I get why but I can't tell what space magic is good or bad.

Okay now get some popcorn jk but i have a story like that in PvE. My team was doing the Vault of Glass, Atheon had 3 rocket hits from dying, I was about to get 2 rocket shots in and hope my teammates did the rest in the 6 seconds we had of times vengeance. This guy with a Suros hops right in front of me right as the rocket launches hits him which kills me I self res at this point times vengeance is over no shields atheon kills me and this was on hard. The people go to kill the oracles guess what happens one of my teammates fires a rocket at the Oracle and the same guy has the shield and is trying to destroy the oracle the rocket hits him not the oracle and the next thing I know you have succumb to the Oracles everyone died and then everyone left the fireteam.

Whenever I'm not PvP with friends, I just think of it as having horrible AI bots trying to take my kills. These people push you into cover, they step in front of you when you have a rocket launcher out, they move you when you are trying to snipe, they wait for you to get killed then kill the injured enemy rather than actually try to save you. These people aren't teammates, they are parasites.

Fighting omingal, I'm taking too much damage. So I run to a corner to turn invisible and get some health back. Fellow Guardian is getting chased by a wizard, he runs straight to my corner and wizard kills me with splash damage aimed at the other guy. Happens in PvP and pve.

Yep. happens all the time. Wish Bungie would patch that. I'd like to be able to shoot through team mates too. They should turn invisible if they're blocking up a certain amount of your screen.

3 RepliesI hate being in a pack of teammates and going into another room....only to find out you're alone cause they all stayed behind to duck and hide on the other side and still won't even come in to mop up after you get the enemies low on health before you died.

Everything is perfect, you pull the trigger ... BOOM some noob with a machine gun steps in front of you, you die, rockets fly to the door, said noob and his friends get wiped and you loose X points. A perfect multikill (4 people in zone B) ruined. Enemy has heavy, our team doesn't, we loose. All because some noob had to stick his head in my way

1 ReplyI always try not to get in my allies line of fire. But sometimes I run around a corner and a teammate runs into me and I keep trying to move out of the way but we both move in the same direction again and again until we die haha

Its a huge problem in all FPSs. Should really just be able to phase through teammates. If the asshole on the other team can shoot through his teammate to kill me, I should be able to walk through mine.

You either suicide or can't take any shots because your asshat teammates have no idea where they are or any of their teammates are at any time.
