Things we know about the New Patrol "Dreadnaught"
This is a list of things we know about the new patrol the "Dreadnaught". I will update this list as more info comes out and if the comments let me know something new.
-It is Oryx's massive "battleship" that he brought to our solar system.
-It is parked close to Saturn.
-It is where the next 6 man raid will be located.
-The raid will be located in the world, like VoG.
-It will be like the Vault of Glass in that it is mysterious, explorable, and has many hidden secrets/treasures that the community will have to "work together to figure things out".
-It is like a giant labrynth with many rooms and passages.
-It is as big as the Cosmodrome and/or Venus patrols.
-It will come with new types of patrols and bounties.
-Wormspore [i]might[/i] be the name of the new upgrade/planetary material.
-There will be new public events.
-You most likely won't be able to use your sparrow.
Side Note: Existing patrols will be updated with the taken and new patrols.

9 RepliesDo you realize if it's a big as a planet, we have to use the sparrow, or else it would take hours to do anything there.

1 ReplyIt will be the biggest area in the game so far, heres why 1. You cant use your sparrow in it, automatically making it feel bigger and take longer to get around, areas wont be easily accessible like normal patrols, you will spend more time figuring out how to get to places before exploring them. 2. it is a labyrinth, it will be like a huge maze and you can easily get lost. To add on to that theres no real reason to go explore the patrol areas so far, theres no incentive. Ive been to many places in the game and realiazing ive never been there before. This isnt going to be the only new area, Im almost sure phobos will be a patrol area to, just no on the scale of the dreadnaught

10 RepliesIts interesting that this is the third time they said there's a "commitment to story" and yet there really isn't. I think they are either confusing LORE for STORY or they are just trying to reassure the PVE community again so they can buy it. Its my feeling that they have seriously alienated the PVE community since launch and have focused on replay value purely for the PVP crowd or at the very least requiring that you PVP for replay value. I enjoy both but I am all about feeling immersed in a games story and this game can do it at times but it fails most of the time and that's where MMO / RPG guys get turned off and leave.

23 RepliesI'd say its going to be this - Going against the Hive and Oryx, joining with the Cabal to do so on the distress call, then facing Oryx and failing, needing to get that new super ability, then a set of several missions to weaken Oryx, then the final confrontation on the dread naught. But that won't be the kill, it'll be the raid that will kill Oryx.

2 RepliesWonder how often the enemies will spawn. We're in Oryx's ship....you'd figure he'd be like, "-blam!- these Guardians." And either send a frkn onslaught of enemies at us or quarantine us to one room.
