Thorn and LW, wtf bungie!?
I was just in a match of IB, out of 12 players, i was the ONLY ONE NOT USING THORN OR LW. Come on bungie stop working on TTK for 2 fukkin days and fix this shit. What will it take to get them to do something? They are the laziest and non-responsive developers ive ever seen anyone else wouldve nerfed these guns in 2 weeks theyve been dominating for months now

9 Repliesfor all that is good in this game STOP THE NERFS every weapon buff and nerf should be removed and the weapons taken back to what they were before the first nerf, the only weapons that should have ever required a buff would be the Pulse Rifles, in no way should an exotic suffer de-buff as there power is what makes them exotic. I would also like to add that Exotic weapons should all have elemental damage and the armour should have elemental resistance (-25% damage when combating grenades, supers, melees and elemental weapons of the same element)

That's bc they are the easiest to use. And tlw is broken as the extra damage perk procs whether your ads or not, and the range is still ridiculous. They both need only range nerfs and maybe Thorn's burn stops upon users death. Auto rifles are still good but you need to hit every head shot. The reason everything else is more powerful is bc it's far easier to get a head shot. But no original Thorn was bad although I used it, and bad juju was bad. The weapons are good, they just need to fix the few exotic hand cannons so they work properly... Btw the Thorn's final round perk sometimes procs randomly like litc unless it has that hidden perk but yeah, I've got videos of it doing more damage than it should mid mag

2 RepliesLol. Who said they were working on ttk? They finished that 2 or 3 years ago and they cut it out of the game shortly before release so they could make you pay that absurd price for it.

1 ReplyI played 6 games yesterday. I was the ONLY player in all 6 games not using an exotic Hand Cannon. I won't be playing again until they fix the PvP. Being forced into using one of 3 weapons is not fun. It's stale and boring.

3 RepliesEh, I used thorn and I still do cause I like the way it fires, and God bless all the last word users, that gun..... Horrible ads.... Anyways. I like the red death shotgun combo. I've always loved pulse rifles. But the point is, over the last week I have seen less and less thorn users, and I haven't been killed by a thorn yet in iron banner.... You're over reacting. Just play....

February 5th update: "Right now, the Hand Cannons work as advertised, but they’re a little too effective at longer ranges. We’re finding that players get very comfortable hanging back and using the Hand Cannon like a Scout Rifle or a Sniper Rifle. With these new changes, you can still hit targets at long range, but the shots need to be paced out and the damage will be lower until you close in on your target. It is important to us to keep TTK values such that your arsenal feels lethal, but also both allows for some drama while you fight, and creates opportunities for counter-play when you’re being attacked."

3 RepliesNerf this buff that nurf this buff that. This has been going on since the auto rifles. Now most weapons on here suck. I say this because its obvious that Bungievision is making their decisions on how weapons are made because of crucible. They have two options to fix this. 1 take all the exotics out and Bungievision could have a really good chance to balance crucible. 2 balance all weapons upon entry of crucible, but outside of crucible give us back our weapons we had when this game first came out . Pvp has a high impact on how weapons are made now and outside of crucible its hurting pve.

13 RepliesEdited by Magnetronx: 7/1/2015 5:33:49 AMWhatever gun players 'perceive' to be the best will get used, others will get killed by it, others will post that it is OP and needs nerfing, it isnt a case of nerfing those particular guns, Bungie needs to rebalance ALL weapons to make them all viable in pvp. Nerfing thorn will just lead to the next single weapon rising to the top and the nerf posts will start again with that weapon. Remember when it was Suros or plan c or vex ????
