SIGN PETITION TO NERF THORN FOR PVP. BOYCOTTING TRIALS OF OSIRIS UNTIL THE WEAPON IS NERFED
It is ridiculous that a very fun and competitive game mode is completely ruined by one single weapon. Tge Thorn NEEDS to be nerfed. A high rate of fire, 2 shot crit kill weapon? Seriously Bungie, if you havent realized that the thorn is dominating and ruining Trials of Osiris, please open your eyes. I have a countless number of friends that agree with me 100%, and the signatures in this petition will show you how we feel. I am simply counting replies to this post as signatures, so if you have a negative comment to make, thank you for the additional petition signature. Please, we dont want to have to boycott The Taken King, but it would be pointless to buy it if PVP is still ruined. Thank you everyone!
Edit: I feel the best way to adjust the thorn is by either reducing its rate of fire or its stability, or both. That would make it so that you hand cannon beasts out there would still dominate with it, but a scrub couldnt get any further with it than he can with any other weapon. If you are as good as you think you are with hand cannons, then a nerf like i suggested would in no way effect your ability to trash scrubs in Trials of Osiris. The gun shouldnt be broken, afterall, it is an exotic.

The only reason I can imagine you're complaining is that you're not very good at PvP. There are plenty of ways to shut down a Thorn. A lot of legendaries come to mind even. Also, it's not like every shit fired from the gun is a guaranteed critical. You need skill and experience for that. Just get good and quit whining. Their range is already getting nerfed, so don't act like a greedy child.

Sucked in nerf the cannons thats what happens when scrubs use the final round glitch with the scrub gun!!! lol theres one problem buy all these people loseing there poxy (cannon). It would ruin the play style players have developed while using thorn!!! I have a TLW and Thorn !!! Just deal with it and stop complaining!!! I have seen lvl 10s take down 34s with maxed thorns and felwinters! Once again suck it up. STOP COMPLAINING. Ever thought about the people on the Thorn side? People also don't want if nerfed too! Go get TLW and challenge a thorn.

4 RepliesReally you threaten to petition TTK lol! The thorn is fine like it is. I been playing for 10 months and just got mine. It's nice but I still like my hawkmoon more. If bungee will answer to whiners then I want it to be easier to get etheric light.

I use the last word mostly and I completely destroy thorn users. quit your wining, and go do this magical thing call practice and become a better player so you don't suck.

4 RepliesBungie already said that it would have its season, it'll be nerfed and some other gun will take its place, just play and quit complaining. I stink at crucible, but I'm not gunna blame it on the gun. It does seem a bit unbalanced, although I will admit, when it comes to shields and armor someone can come around s the corner and use a grenade and a melee and it'll kill me instantly, I do the same to someone else and I'll put a dent in their shield. *shrugs*

It seems this thread is full of people that do not have the skill or patients to complete the Thorn bounty. I have it. It doesn't make me invincible. I get killed a lot. By all kinds of different weapons. Play and work the game.

3 RepliesAs a Thorn user since week 5 of Destiny I can say that it is an amazing weapon to wield, but in the case of it needing nerfed, there should be no argument. It's a gun that you have to get by chance, then you have to complete/ grind for in order to get the gun. Thus this gun should be slightly better than the rest. When this gun is in Crucible non-stop it just comes down to having to the necessary skill to kill the opponent. Just cause it's an over used weapon doesn't mean you should whine and complain about it needing nerfed... I use this gun a lot in PvP and I die a lot while using this weapon.. So in reality it just comes down to the skill that you need in order to kill your opponent.
