Husk of the Pit
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but.. Does this gun still drop? I've literally farmed the "Fist of Crota" mission about 300 times over the past 4 days. Just wanted to see if anyone had this drop at all recently.

2 RepliesI've also been farming this mission this last week. Killed over 200 sword bearers in Fist of Crota since last weekly reset (mostly in the last 4 days) and no husk. About 350 kills overall. Been keeping an eye on [url=http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/3aw63n/i_think_the_husk_of_the_pit_drop_is_possibly/] this reddit thread [/url] which I initially misunderstood as confirmation that you can still get it. Now I've re-read it, seems like a lot of people are spending hours not getting it too.

2 Repliesbad thing is its different for everyone. some play 10 hrs every day for a week to get it when it first came out.and not get it.others in an hr got it. it hasnt changed from when it first arrived. just keep trying.

The problem is it's a basic weapon drop. When is the last time you got a basic weapon drop for a character over lvl 20? What's the drop rate for that? It might be almost impossible to obtain it at this point. I agree with another post that suggested Eris just sell it. Charge whatever you want. Hell 30 Black Wax Idols.

It does still drop. I've only found once since the release of HoW though. It's stupidly rare Good luck

First, make sure mission is on heroic. Second, have blade of Croat bounty from eris . Third, try to headshot the guy. Hope this helps
